I am all for the "funny" and "silly" outfits of the 70s, as it was part of the total package that made each of them multi-millionaires. I applaud them and am happy for them. The bottom line was that each played a vital part of ABBA that made its glorious 10-year run when they ruled the music planet with fabulous lyrics, stunning good looks, and never-to-be equalled lead vocals. 30 years after recording their last, they STILL sell 2 million + albums a year. Lip sync was normal back then as the TV companies did not trust singers to keep to the words of the records, it was a form of censorship although some did record the song earlier in the day at the TV studio so ti was not the record they synced to but a live version still ABBA are the simply best :-)

Those girls could sing believe me - and the sound of the band was incredible: all the hits were there - with major differences from the studio versions..and they sounded awesome. On TV in those days many bands lip-synched - often because of union regulations in the host country e.g. use of musicians, technicians etc.. Not unusual then. DQ = not disco, wrong beat...

@magick1969 There were TONS of food additives back then, we just moved more. Don't forget about the drugs and the ring dings and twinkies. Also there was no internet where people surfed for hrs in one place and the sun had not done so much damage...ozone was just starting to be depleted.
