It's easy to perform fun, upbeat gimmicks in Sing-Off. Much more difficult to deliver a melancholy ballad successfully in this show's context. Although many of the performances were entertaining, this song and "Creep" by SCS were the only 2 songs I felt sincere emotion from this season. Grammy for arrangement...Oscar for emotion.

Kenton does a good job of making the cello sound in this song. Definitely one of the best performances of season 2.

I can't believe they didn't win. Joanna should have her own contract she is amazing. she's gives me goose bumps when she sings. Courtney is amazing idk that girls got some serious talent.

omg i agree i was pissed i turned it off after they got kicked off but i watched the end the next day and i think joanna was better then the whole group committed ..i really hope the backbeats still get some kindof record deal but im sure they will

@aznchef2006 I bet it was just a musical moment for her that she got caught up in. As a musician myself, there are times where you find yourself being a part of something that seems otherworldly. Moves you to emotional depths very unexpectedly. If you watch her face during the song, you can see that she is becoming overcome. And she kept it together... how beautiful was this performance... to die for.
