i have hpi and a km 2.0 all alum. i think the km is all the same parts lots of hpi parts are made in China you just pay more , you get more for your money with KM.. hpi parts bend just the same as KM

if its a 23cc use the stock carb, or upgrade to a bigger motor with a 8000 rpm clutch if you want more bottom end

I have a DX3S and a DX3R and a 3500 micro RX there both brilliant controllers, i agree the DX3S is a better buy but the screen is not as big as the DX3R & has less features, but the telemetry makes up for it. I think i need to make the wires longer on the sensors for my baja when i get one :)

As i did....

Go for 5B 2.0 with upgrades from SS and 5t, learn the baja 1/5 scale with the 23cc and then make some upgrates to 30cc..

Merlin, are the stock needle settings the same for this as for the 23CC standard engine?

I am using am 813 carb, the stock settings i used were 1 and a half turns out on both needles, hope this helps :)
