@wiltabone if im not mistaken i think that Malfoy was suppose to die because he was suppose to kill dumbledore then he woujld be the wands master, then riddle was going to kill malfoy and be the master of the wand.
@redneck500 Actually yes but it tuned out that Voldemort had errors (he always does), and then killed Snape instead. Harry had disarmed Draco earlier and then used the Elder wand to disarm Voldemort, thus the killing curse backfired causing the Dark Lord to die at the age of 73 I think.
Obviously, he was guilty. He tried to kill Dumbledore twice but he did not succeed, He poisoned Ron and gave the cursed necklace to Katie. Draco had to kill Dumbledore but he couldn't do it because he was chickenshit
@Dayreel What a load of rubbish. Draco didn't have it in him to kill Dumbledore. He didn't want to kill ANYONE. He doesn't have an evil soul. He was forced to otherwise Voldemort would kill HIM AND his family. He didn't want Dumbeldore killed either. You can tell by his face when he was ready to fire at him that he almost refused but he would have got trampled over and his family would have been killed. Think if you were in that position. He didn't have a lot of choice.

Remember the scene where Draco was talking to his friends on the Hogwarts Express. He was very proud to tell them that the Dark Lord had a task for him to do. He did the task but he failed. In the end, he realized how difficult it was, his family was at stake so he had no choice but to do it although he wanted to refuse.

In book 6 and 7 he's finnaly realised what his true destiny is and doesn't follow by Voldemort's orders anymore. He had it all in him to think he was the best and now he doesn't. He thinks he's a failiure and a cruel person. His character completely changes as that makes it one of the biggest moments in the series.

poor draco! in the book (that part) myrtle says hes all helpless and he doesnt have a choice.i love this cause it shows a softer (and waywayway hotter) side of draco.
I've listened quite hard (and put the subtitles on for the dvd) and Draco doesn't start to say crucio. We just see him raise his wand and Harry reacts instictivly. Draco's a cowardly little bitch in my opinion. He stomps on harrys face on the train and leaves him there, he tries to curse dubledore with a necklace and poisoned mead instead of a spell, and then he attacks harry for practically no reason.
In the book it explains that malfoy was about to use the cruciatus curse on harry so he instinctivly tried to defend himself with a spell he knew was "for enemies", but in the movie it just looks like he mercilessly cuts down draco and it looks like its the first spell that comes to his mind, which it really wasn't. Harry was just panicked and desperate to save himself

When I was watching this movie and I saw Harry use Sectumsempra, I yelled "OWNED!!!" in the theater and punched the air. Considering how many people were in the theater at the time, I think I regret doing this.

I don't necessarily think Harry was wrong for confronting Draco, even fighting him. There are many reasons I'm sure Harry felt justified. However, he absolutely should not have used sectumsempra. Yes, he had no idea what it would do, but that is the point, at least in part. Using an unknown curse on a fellow student? Bad, bad choice.
This scene does a poor job of conveying the circumstances under which Harry used the curse.
In the book, Malfoy was about to use the Cruciatus Curse and this spell just jumped into Harry's head; it was a panicked, spur of the moment choice and not something premeditated (which I agree would have been way out of line).
@Suzvn Harry had no idea the effects of "Sectumsempra" before he used it. He read it in The Half Blood Prince's Book. I'd do the same to someone who stepped on my face and broke my nose and insult my friends whenever he damn feels like it.
No matter how nice and polite Harry had been to Draco, the latter would still try to curse him. Thumbs up to Harry.

sectumsempra...the spell that almost killed Draco, made Harry worried, made the H/D shippers forget to breath and converted a lot of people to H/D (L) Must be one of the best drarry-scenes there is, together with the fienfyre one: draco grabbed harry around the waist...and all the fangirls died XD

I've listened quite hard (and put the subtitles on for the dvd) and Draco doesn't start to say crucio. We just see him raise his wand and Harry reacts instictivly. Draco's a cowardly little bitch in my opinion. He stomps on harrys face on the train and leaves him there, he tries to curse dubledore with a necklace and poisoned mead instead of a spell, and then he attacks harry for practically no reason.

In the book it explains that malfoy was about to use the cruciatus curse on harry so he instinctivly tried to defend himself with a spell he knew was "for enemies", but in the movie it just looks like he mercilessly cuts down draco and it looks like its the first spell that comes to his mind, which it really wasn't. Harry was just panicked and desperate to save himself

When I was watching this movie and I saw Harry use Sectumsempra, I yelled "OWNED!!!" in the theater and punched the air. Considering how many people were in the theater at the time, I think I regret doing this.

I don't necessarily think Harry was wrong for confronting Draco, even fighting him. There are many reasons I'm sure Harry felt justified. However, he absolutely should not have used sectumsempra. Yes, he had no idea what it would do, but that is the point, at least in part. Using an unknown curse on a fellow student? Bad, bad choice.

This scene does a poor job of conveying the circumstances under which Harry used the curse.
In the book, Malfoy was about to use the Cruciatus Curse and this spell just jumped into Harry's head; it was a panicked, spur of the moment choice and not something premeditated (which I agree would have been way out of line).

@Suzvn Harry had no idea the effects of "Sectumsempra" before he used it. He read it in The Half Blood Prince's Book. I'd do the same to someone who stepped on my face and broke my nose and insult my friends whenever he damn feels like it.
No matter how nice and polite Harry had been to Draco, the latter would still try to curse him. Thumbs up to Harry.

sectumsempra...the spell that almost killed Draco, made Harry worried, made the H/D shippers forget to breath and converted a lot of people to H/D (L) Must be one of the best drarry-scenes there is, together with the fienfyre one: draco grabbed harry around the waist...and all the fangirls died XD
