I have been looking high and low accross the delay/echo pedal universe this week and after many hours boring my girlfriend I think im sold on this one. The love gone into this white metal case is vast, there are only 2 dealers in the U.K as far as i can see. Maybe if i had a bigger budget i would be tempted to go for a pigtronix echolution, or above the Empress super delay. For a similar price to the Subdecay the analog Malekko Echo 600 Dark sounds very tasty indeed too.
Ohh, i see now, cause i never really read about them, so i wasnt sure exactly, but i see now, like the vintage Boss DM-2 and the newer mxr carbon copy delay, yea, but i just knew that subdecay's echobox is definitely digital

If I were to get a digital/analog hybrid Id either get the Earthquake Devices Disaster Transport or Wampler Faux Tape Echo.

@theShowStopper321 Those are great pedals (for sure!), but the echobox can do the best DMM-type sound, which, for me, is the selling point.

@theShowStopper321 that's a subjective term. It does a DMM-style tone with less noise and little less mojo and phatness. It is good.

Not necessarily. The majority of analog delays don't use tape.
