yak hengerer lives 5min away from where i live, my dad use to drive truck for him back in the day. he has 3-4 grain carts n new case tractors to pull them.
14 case combines, 4 grain carts, and 8-10 truck drivers, everything that is drive able is red, but he still has some john deere tractors. but he uses red case track tractors to pull his air seeders. and he owns his very own elevator.
ah, i thought so. there was an article bout his operation in a mag. its amazing how he started out with just under 500 acres and expanded to what he has now
is this down by lethbridge alberta?? i think i went to this farm, we were looking at getting another 9860 sts, fricken huge! think he has mostly case equipment now if this is the same guy....
I recognise the area its around calgary at least image 1:37 if I remember thats the split on highway 1 and the trans canada highway 2 if i remember right
yup thats down southern AB, the signs over the road prove it, thats is the second tractor here in Alberta that I've seen with quad sets of tires all 'round
oh yah some beautifull country I have been on those roads several times I love southern Alberta..thats really interesting about the Deere with quad sets of tires I had just never seen that before two that you know of year round very interesting
I know I would not want to be on one of our farm roads around here if I passed that thing thats one hell of a tracter I bet they modified it but who knows hell my tracter is no where near that large on my small farm
very interesting I just have never seen a tracter with quite that many tires I figured that definatlly would have to take a permit to run off a farm.. I hav eseen some pretty awsome farm mechinery running up there in Canada especilly Alberta
yea the fields up where hes at he just crosses the road from what i understand never even folds his wings up just moves from field to field there the fields are so big and open
very interesting I am not sure on that folding the wings up probilly alot of work for them but the farms and land is very large in all three prarie provinces.. I saw a brand of old thrasher up there I had never heard of the name was Cockshutt and they are red
