he spits water out of his mouth. u dont need to say anything to the judges, its optional. so basically my guess is he went up and said nothing and began his form

I'm an old school cat myself. I think a lot of competitors have gotten ridiculous with all the bullshit tricks that they've lost the foundation of BASICS. HOWEVER despite being old school I have to give Matt credit. This is one of the sickest forms I've ever seen and I think he has incredible technique.
