  • Mr. graves i workout between an hour or more at the gym three times a week, while going to school. After my workout today i took one of those muscle milke shakes. After thinking about it i looked it up on the internet and saw your response on if the muscle milk really do anything for your body. i had read that after your workout, you should order a small chocolate frosty from wendy's. do you recommend that to get protein after each work out ?

  • @MalineKarl

I was a lil skeptical about spending that

kind of money for something ordered

online. But I bit the bullet and I ordered

that workout program at the site

    AmazingAbs.info

And after 3weeks under its program, it

helped flexed my abdomen,so I say

    it does what it claims.

  • Very good workout for your suggestion skew knees. On foot I could not make a bo abdominal contraction. Greetings from your friends training in Brazil.

  • Nice video! But when I am training at the gym, should I lift the weights like 10 times in a row, then a little break, 10 times in a row... or?

  • @NiklasAlexanderTV I usually shoot for the 12-15 rep range when I do weighted ab exercises and take short 15 to 30 second breaks between sets. For other muscles, if I want to build them, I do 8-12 reps to failure and wait 40-60 seconds between sets.

  • Omg please respond, im not fit at all but im not fat lol but jow often do I gota do this to get a six pack.in ,3 months

  • @McCherryParry Sorry for the late response. These exercises will help build abdominal muscle, but they won't burn fat. You'll need a calorie deficit to do that.

  • I started working out 5 days a week. 2 days include ab exercise which include a few in this video. I also get about 4 miles of cardio in per week. I was never able to see my abs before or notice them and now I can slighty see them without pushing them forward. Weighted ab exercies + cardio + training all other muscles + tein = progress

  • ok thank you very much how long do you think it would take to get an eigh pack if i do all my 5 hours of sport every week and 1 hour a week on a hard ab workout at the gym?? with an ok diet

what width is your waist by the way??

  • ok, thank you very much.. at the moment i do sport for 5 hours a week not including about an hour of cardio in the gym do you still think i should increase my cardio and, would it still be adviseable to do specific big ab workouts ?? because some people tell me you shouldnt do to much ab workouts because i will get fat abs ..? and doing ab workouts do they burn fat ?? sorry to bother you

  • @charlietangossss It's coo..I'm here to serve. Your level of activity sounds good. Batch your carb intake around your workouts so you'll have energy and you won't lose muscle. You still need to decrease your calories intake slightly (not too much) and monitor your progress from week to week. Your body will adjust. It's better to lose fat slowly (it'll stay gone) than to lose fat quickly (it'll come right back).

  • @charlietangossss As far as ab workouts go, that's really up to you. My abs aren't stubborn so I get great ab development from working them hard 3 times a week. If you're just starting out, you may need to work them everyday. I always suggest moving to weighted exercises once you master the basics. NO, doing ab exercises doesn't burn fat off your abs (that's what the cardio and food intake is for). NO, doing ab workouts won't get you "fat abs", just "ripped abs" once you have low body fat.

  • could you tell me how i can get ripped abs when i have some fat on my belly still and and ab workout with weights but not machines please

  • @charlietangossss You'll need to decrease your calories (slightly) and increase your cardio (moderately) to get rid of the belly fat. As far as exercises go, you can hold light dumbbells in your hands and feet and do the Dual Pulley Crunch. Hanging Knee Raise with your while hanging from a door (open a door and hook your hands over the top of it and hang from it) while holding a dumbbell with your feet is another great lower ab exercise.

  • lol is that judge mathis in the backround??

  • I dont have the equipment at my gym :(

  • @MrBeardtard don't worry abt it.... it all depends on how much time you hav.... if its only 30mins do cardio!

  • @MrBeardtard I understand that. Refer to my reply to @charlietangossss above^^

  • Finally a real personal trainer

  • this is the truth how you really get muscley abs, when you use weight and you can only do less then 14 reps you are activating your fast twitch muscles which are the only ones that grow.

  • great video. can u please make a video on ab exercises w/ dumbells?

  • you is skiny as a hell !!

  • i have a belly but im training to get a six pack in month are two. but i have no weights! and i do push ups everyday but nothings changing. tell me what i need to do?

  • its funny how most ppls dont pay any attention to their legs

  • thaaaaatssss my babiiiiiiiii :D

  • Man i really need how to get deined arms, not big but ripped like him, it is hard to me, shit!

  • @Bustanez do two handed curls up to 30 kgs and concentration exercises for your biceps

as for the triceps, tou should use the pulley machine to train them and do some diamond pushups!

you need to sweat your ass off

without suplements and a very good diet good looking arms are hard to achieve, yet you say toned arms, so that is not too difficult, but if you want big arms, that is another story! hope i helped!

  • (fitwithmitch) @ hey Mitch thanks for the tips, how often do you short burst running etc, is it once a week?

  • @dannysinghlondon My metabolic rate is high from my diet and weight lifting so I don't really do cardio. But when I want to cut a few pounds of fat, I do it about twice a week . Depending on your body type, you may need more (up to 4 times). I'm a naturally skinny person.

  • @fitwithmitch thanks for the info Mitch, sometimes thanks does not seem enough, this is one of those situations.. :). I'm naturally skinny too, just wanted to see my body get more ripped (see more abs haha), i do 8reps @ 3sets... so I’ll try once/twice a week cardio just like you said...thanks again

  • @dannysinghlondon Cool. Track your body fat for two weeks and let me know how that works out for you.

  • Can you talk about your diet bro, what you usually eat, food you like and amount of it?

  • @sil3ntmode I try to stick with natural foods man. I have to cook everything. No boxes anywhere except for cereal. Stick with that tip and you should be OK. As far as amount, that is SOLELY dependent on my goals, body type, and activity level. I hate when ppl give random numbers of calorie consumption because they can be so far off. Watch and track your portions for a week. Weigh yourself at the beginning and the end, then adjust according to your goals. It's that easy.

  • @fitwithmitch I do agree with you on calorie recommendation. Great work bro, i hope you can get better :)

  • you are the first person to say to do strength training on your abs instead of endurance.... genius im going to start doing less reps heavier weights

  • @flaminfireboy Hey, that's a great insight and a summary to what I teach. Thanks!

  • great invention for getting more tension!

  • @escortpassion Thanks!

  • whats a good eating plan..good food to eat

  • @veltboy373 Stick with natural foods. Refer to my reply to @sil3tmode above.

  • Great body!!! :) i wanna look like that and ima girl gymnast!!!

  • What's the brand of the shirt?

  • @laertios Underarmor

  • Canterbury!!!

  • No not canterbury - it's Under Armour

  • Wow ..this guy is SuperMan

  • can i do these even if im only 15?

  • @iBeasteveryday Sure!

  • Thanks a lot for the excercises. I will definitely be adding a few of these to my routine.

  • thats some great stuff man, a lot i have never heard of. about to go try it out. great video

  • i need to do some of these i wanna lose my belly

  • @msjoseph14 Great! Be on the lookout for my Ab Product coming to a website near you very soon.

  • How much percent body fat should you have to get those "ripped" abs? And yes, I know that to lower body fat you need to do some cardio with high intensity, but can you give some specific examples of these intense cardio workouts that need to be done?

  • @jpfiligrana1 Guys need to be below 10% generally to see their abs. If you want be "ripped", you have to get down to around 6% or so and have well developed abs from proper ab strengthening exercises. I like to do short sprints with short rests as high intensity workouts. Running hills and walking down are good. Basically stop and go cardio (not treadmills or ellipticals!!) workouts are good.

  • Hey I'm 5'7 weigh 120lbs, body fat 6% and been doing 200 crunches a day. My problem is working on my lower abs I never feel that burn when I do leg raises?? Also I want to get that v-shape in the front round the hips area. If u could help that would be kool I'm a male btw.

  • @terrelle372 ankle weights and do leg raises and other ab exercises involving leg motion but the catch is NOT hepling with your other parts in your abs as much as you can sustain! try it out!

  • Is that a hot gear or cold gear shirt?

  • hey, do girls do the same thing, if they just want to be toned? Or should we just stick to the crunches? haha...not sure if girls are meant to have massive visibil abs

  • those handing leg raises weren't engaging the lower abs no where near enough, if you cannot lift your knees past 90 degrees with weight than drop the weight

until your lift your knees past 90 than your mostly engaging the hip flexors

  • Yeah, a few weeks before you posted this comment, I started bringing my legs up higher, sorry I don't have a video of that. You can get a good crunch by doing what I'm doing if you do them correctly - otherwise I wouldn't have put it up.

  • can u tell me how many reps should i do to gain mass and how much for getting them ripped?

  • Well "ripped" comes from low body fat. For maximum hypertrophy, you want to have the muscle in tension for about 40 seconds...which is about 10 reps. I always go for mass (8-10) reps, and worry about lowering my body fat to get "ripped" through other methods.

  • i add alot of strength but not alot of mass wat do u suggest?

  • A few things could be working here.

    1. Your nutrition is lacking meaning you aren't getting enough calories to build mass so your muscles are just adapting. - Get more calories

    2. Have you done these exercises regularly for a few weeks? I began doing them to build mass. -Do these exercises for mass

    3. You may be doing too many reps and tapping into your Type II fibers for endurance and not mass. -Lower your max rep range to around 8 or so

  • so i should by an elliptical machine then once i have a flat chest i should those exercises

  • You can do these exercises whenever you want, but begin with light weight.

Do what you need to do to get your body fat down to single digits (if ur a guy). Doing these exercises along with low body fat will result in incredible abs.

  • nice man 5* imma try this, oh and i was in tkd too and did godknows how many crunches but never saw any result

  • nice upload!

  • lol, go read a book. It's takes a lot more than nutrition and genetics to get the abs I'm talking about.

  • rofl

  • @omission13 that is 100% true. of course some people have to work harder than others, like ectomorphs and endomorphs have to work harder than mesomorphs but any one can achieve great shape

  • @omission13 ya man(y)

  • @omission13 Our "will" is very strong. According to mentally wise but physically its hard. But your right, people just need to stop being lazy..

  • How should i work these into my routine? 3 sets of each exercise, 1min rest between sets just like other exercises?

  • I'd recommend only doing 2 or 3 at the most of these exercises per workout...they're pretty intense. 2 or 3 sets each with 1 min rest and no more than 12 reps.

  • Good video, just wondering why you don't use any of the ab machines there at the gym. I do the cable crunches but also a lot of the weighted ab machines, can really get a good burn. I agree with you that diet is also very important.

  • woah, I'm gonna start the 1st one today, need to get rid of my baby fats :D

  • dude workout your legs

  • at the time of this recording, I was leg pressing over 1000 lbs and squatting over 300, lol. I have very strong legs.

  • Do you know a exercise without using weights? I know if you do not keep up, it gets flabby after a while. I also understand that using weights is quiet over rated in the long run. Thank you in the long run.

  • Numbers dont mean a thing, its how you do it remember that, leg pressing 1000 and squatting over 300? are you even going down all the way on those exercises? (or do you have an excuse for half reps)? clearly you still have much to learn before making more videos, TheDiamond69 said workout your legs, he means that in an apperance way, bascially hes saying you have small legs not "weak" legs.

  • this exactly what I was looking for, I have a flat ab section, and a somwhat descent pack...but I want to pop it oout, I will tried and report it thanks man, only one question: So, do I have to do one set each, or 3 or 4 of each on different days

  • I do 3 or 4 sets about twice a week. No need to work them out everyday and overdo it, since the whole point is to train your abs like your other muscles.

  • how long would it take me to get ripped abs with these exerscises when my abdominals are just visible now(i havent got any fat i just need to become bigger) thanks plz rely

  • hey, sorry for the late reply. It's hard to give you a definite time period b/c these exercises are only one piece of the puzzle. but with my body type, my metabolism, my nutrition, and my exercises...it took me 2 months to look like that. May take you longer or shorter...that's an honest answer that I feel ur entitled to. Not gonna hype you up like some of these other guys :-)

  • hey that at anytime fitness!

  • I hate you and love you at the same time. You just gave me a bunch of better exercises for my abs, but just gave me one of a painful day to start. lol. I'm starting this up tomorrow.

    Thanks a bunch.

  • yeah, these are intermediate exercises. I think I mentioned that in the video. If ur a beginner, it's better to start out with basic ab exercises and work up to these.

  • Before you talk get your ideas organized. Thanks

  • The best right there man...

    the stuff that works

    Thanx

  • finally....someone who understands me...haha

  • Awesome! it actually works better than pretty much anything else that i have tried before. Their is a much better burn when you do these correctly
