Ok I have a question. Why is Twilight such a phenomenon? In my opinion its just another cliche vampire love story. Read the first book, nothing special. But why does everyone love it? And please, no answers like "Cuz its awesome!" or "Because its amazing!" I want a REAL reason.

Honestly. Well no, first I wanna mention I'm a dude. I read the book in 2004 because my GF made me. According to her, it was great because Bella is just an ordinary girl. That's the allure, it's a book by a chick, for chicks. Most people these days like it because it's in hot topic though.

People love twilight because its a good read! its got a great story line, dialog, and memorable characters.

But I do tend to like my vampires blood thirty (like in The Saga of Darren Shan).
