  • i use to have one of these,i also had the van with ramp and trailer ,aswell as the drag racer with parachute.i bet they would be worth a few quid today if i had kept them.

  • Evil nailed It . I knew he would! Thanx 4 the chuckle.

  • One of the best toys ever made

  • lol....I had one of these as a kids.great memories.

  • why they never fetch some of these great classic toys out again i'll never know, i'm sure as adults now we would be the first to go out and buy one for a keep sake , because as a child we normaly wear them out, break them or swop them and wish we had looked after them better or kept them, also i would love to be able to buy my own kids some of these fantastic classic toys. but in saying that most toys in the 70's were made to last much longer compared to todays rubbish you can get.

  • Gawd i loved this toy! I didn't lose it, i wore it out!

  • R.I.P. Evil Knievil my childhood hero!

  • Lame

  • Far and away the best toy ever made .

  • As a little lad, I tried jumping my Evel Knievel stunt cycle through real fire. As I recall, his left leg got a bit black and crispy.

  • Also had 1 when I waz a kid & YES, I DID see Kenievel's head move. Kinda creepy.

  • Awesome video! I had that when I was in, like, 4th grade! I remember being so exxcited to get out of school and go to Toys R Us to get it. Thanks for posting this!

  • I had Evel and Robbie in a blue suit, that was when kids played outside after school.

  • great fun. grandma worked at Ideal so we have a few

  • did anyone els see the toys head move?

  • too fucking funny...thumbs way up.

  • The head earily turn during the rev up!

  • I haven't seen those in 30 years! I loved mine! I wish I knew what happened to... oh yeah, I jumped it off the second story porch at my grandparents house and... well, Evel didn't survive.

  • oh shittttttttt!!!!!!!! brings back the memories..toys were so great and simplistic back then..i remember revving up the bike and the higher the pitch got,the more excited i would get, knowing that he was gonna go speeding away..I also remember that if you held the bike, and revved the wheels on the floor,it would take off also.thanx for the video post.i dont feel 38 years old anymore

  • This video is HIGH-larious! Brings back a lot of memories too because I had all the Evel toys when I was a kid. I shared this vid on my Facebook. Thanks!! Oh the 70's! Sigh.....

  • At 0:21 Evil comes alive and turns his head towards the camera!

  • @12bucklemyshoe1

Prior to that at 0:07. Whow, that is some spooky dooky!! Evel is the balls!!

  • You could have been killed! Awesome stunt!

  • this guy i know is evel knievels cousin! NO JOKE

  • Man thanks for the video. Got one of these for Christmas back in the early to mid-70s. Brings back memories!

  • ALL ADULTS SHOULD PLAY WITH TOYS LIKE THESE AT LEAST AN HOUR A WEEK !!!!

  • @BLUECHET I do!!

  • Should of changed the wheels to pizza slicing wheels...Now that'd be fun..

  • I got this toy as a kid. It nearly ALWAYS whiped out.....just like the real Evel Knievel!

  • I haven't heard screaming sound of that toy since 1976, but now I I remember it like it was yesterday..! One of my favorite toys as a kid.

    Thanks for the memories.

  • I use to have that toy..I also loved my 6 million $ man doll.

  • That was freaking killer! I like creativity! Why didn't I think of that? Did you get any tire burns on the scalp?

Long Live the King of the Stuntmen!

  • had such good memories of this as a kid that my GF got me one for my birthday still great fun, but noisier then i remember, must be the old age hehe

  • Stunning... I had one of those, and a Bigtrak, and a Grifter and a Kermit the frog with velcro pads and a bendy Animal muppet and a streak racing set etc etc

  • fantastic... brought back so many great memories

  • I use to make my Knievel jump off the house, all the kids in the neighborhood would come over and watch, kinda like a kiddy ppv event without the bucks but with all the hype!

  • I have 2 original EK action figures,cant find the bikes :-(

  • bet you can't jump two heads..

  • On Christmas I used record albums to make a bigger ramp.. and faced it at the Christmas tree and busted up ornaments...pop! smash! crash!! glass all under the tree! good times!!

  • So excellent! EK face-jumping stunt, one of the best YouTube videos ever!

  • i used to hit my moms achilles tendon with the front tire as she cooked in the kitchen. sweet times!

  • The "kitchen Jump " was the best....

  • Comment removed

  • I used to go to Kmart or the corner drugstore and buy the cheapest male "action figures". Then, I'd douse them with lighter fluid, put 'em on the bike, light 'em up, and, let 'er rip!

*shrug* I was a disturbed child.

  • @elbakrameR Lol,thats too funny I wish I had thought of that cause I had one.

  • lolololol

  • I never get tired of watching thses videos. Mom used to get pissed when I'd try to get little EK to jump the dining room table. It's safe to say this toyline and Star Wars pretty much saved the toy industry back in the 70's. I recently recieved Playing Mantis blue & red jumpsuit EK from Ebay. Now I need to get my hands on the white jumpsuit EK set.

  • Tears in my eyes...

  • 'bout ripped his eyebrow off at the end! XD

  • Oh my God! I drove my ma friggin' nuts with this thing when I was a kid.

  • I remember those toys. They were great. Don't make things like that anymore.

  • @sleepyhollowboy27 Actually, I recall that these were all hype. They never ran like the commercials (OK, nothing did, but these never lived up to that).

  • classic!

  • firebox . com

  • where do you buy that

  • Good stuff! Brings back good memories of my brother and I with Knievel!

  • I broke my share of those in the 70's....LOL!

  • sweet video dude. Oh man, now I want a stunt cycle. :( (R.I.P. evel knievel)

  • wow remember when i had one as a kid - fantastic!

  • man i want 1 so bad

  • Wow...creep me the hell out man, he looked over at you before launching! Ha! What are the chances of his helmet vibrating to the side just like that at that exact time?! Save the vid big time, that rocked!

  • I just saw on the news that Evel's son jumped 24 buses at King's Island. Immediately made me think of this toy. So glad to see it's still be made, and that it's just as much fun as I remember.

  • Too much free time man!

  • nice to see this again,i had this toy and spent many happy hours playing with it.great stuff!!!!!!!!!!1

  • that looks dangerous!

  • lol

  • the toy turns it head man

    cool

  • holy crap remember this toy my cousin had it i was always playin wid the damn thing lol

  • I so wish i still had mine.

  • there are few men i respect and even fewer that i like, evel knievel made both those lists. and like others who have commented, that toy and the man was my childhood. sure the toy was limited in terms of speed, power and trajectory capabilities thats what our imagination is for. good to see you guys at firebox videos still have yours! Evel Knievel a true American Icon!

  • Yeah he's alive lol.. he turns his head just before launch as if to say he's ready to jump lol - - well its really his loose helmet moving thru vibration.. but it looks mad

  • I had one of these as a kid, was one of my favorite toys.

    We'll miss you, Evel

  • RIP Evel Knievel

  • I thought everybody put Evel in their sisters hair. I thought the whole reason for having any toy was to terrorize big sis.

  • dude does that thing turn its head right before it takes off! creeeepyyy

  • Funny..

  • bullshit

  • Thanks for putting this on, brings back so many memories, cheers.

  • That's the sound of my youth .I loved that bike!!!

  • Cool Evel Knievel stunt cycle, I hade one when I was 5, it was the best toy I ever had.

  • o-some!

  • Yeah, way cooler than some junky-ass Rock'em, Sock'em Robots. I remeber winding the Stunt Cycle up an putting in my sister's hair. Not pretty!!! Possible root cause of present day psycho behavior.

  • That's Funny. The Christmas I got my stunt cycle, it's first jump was right into the Christmas tree and got those silver ice icicle stringy things tangled up in the gear. I could imagine what hair would do.

  • in norway we dont have evel knievel toys! :( :( :( :(

  • SOUNDS like a jet engine taking off lol

  • all fun and games until someone looses and eye!

  • woh you guys are risking it all putting your life on the line your mom must be so proud

  • Street racers are retarded....go get some nitrous and wrap yourself around a pole already.

  • Be careful, you wouldnt want to get hurt now

  • cool. :)

  • I had one of those when I was a kid. One of the few toys that could hold my attention for more than 60 seconds. COOLEST TOY EVER. Thanks for the memories, FireboxVideos.

  • That Rig is worth about $600 on eBay

  • O_O I have like 3 in my garage...

  • That noise! made me feel ten years old

  • great fun! i had one when i was a kid in the 70's. hearing that familiar wind up noise made me smile. cheers for posting.

  • You guys fuckin rock, i haven't laughed so hard in months, thank you!!!!! Canada.

  • Its alive man!! the evel knievel doll keeps looking around!! Freaky.

  • haha. The laughter at the end sums it up beautifully. "This was funny, but I'm a grown man lying on my back having things jump my head".

    My kinda humour. lol

  • That toy is cursed!! watch the head! scary

  • He did it again on the second jump !!!

  • Did I see a 'Chucky' moment there. Did Evel Knievel turn his head to the right before he set off ???

    Creepy !!!

  • Funny stuff..Getting one for xmas to relive my childhood memories!

  • What a truly amazing toy. I could watch this for hours. This really motivates me to buy it so bad.
