The detainees at Guantanamo Bay are fed three well-balanced meals a day and are allowed to practice their faith.

The U.S. military guards, despite their humane treatment of the detainees, are spat upon, pelted with feces, and urinated upon.

So, yes, there is mistreatment at Guantanamo Bay: U.S. soldiers who serve there as guards are often mistreated by detainees!

Yet the media get it wrong again and again.

Let's be fair to everyone--including the U.S. military.

Gitmo troops have one of the toughest jobs in the military, yet they rise to the challenge with integrity, honor and fortitude.

Their worst enemy is not the terrorists they protect us from, however. It's the US News Media.

Democrats have more sympathy for the terrorists in Gitmo than our soldiers. Liberals like Dick Durbin and Patrick Leahy have called our soldiers Nazis. Then again, the only soldiers Democrats like them have supported were Jesse MacBeth and other phony soldiers.
