  • Oldschool, Newschool,- Fuckschool

I saw the wimp, the blimp, and the chimp in '71

    - And These guys hit it right between the eyes-

    Nice job on the cover.

  • the bass tone actually isn't bad..it approaches Felix's.. just needs to be brought out in the mix.

Judging from the guitar+vocals being split by 2 guys, and the GFR song title for a name, I really doubt these guys are exclusively Mountain anyway.

  • foamulator, I disagree!! I think they did a very good job.

  • Just what I would expect from a non-musician who can't appreciate what it takes. You probably couldn't play your CD player without hitting the wrong note....

  • They played very well. Guitarist was NOT as fat as Leslie in his prime, no way, trust me. Leslie was just smart enough to not wear muscle T's! ;) They also have a nice tone, but nowhere near the tone Leslie got from his Les Paul Jr. As for the bass, very good, but bass not nearly as deep as Felix's EB-1 violin bass. Thats what made Mountain so special, their sound was truly trademarked, and no ones "infringed" it yet.

  • Great job guys. Leslie West's tone is so hard to get down but once somebody does it sounds great. Keep on rockin!

  • They rock and look like they are having a blast. What else do you need? The guitar player is great. Alot of backseat rock stars here??

  • Yeah, I'm way 70s old school and I thought, nobody can do Mountain. They did, great drumming, bass and nice leads. For all you haters these guys covered all the bases.

  • What's everbody complaining about? They did alright. So, they can't play it as good as Mountain; few can. The singer is excellent.

  • Good riffin. I arm - wrestled the lead guitarist and lost.

  • The guitarist is actually fatter than leslie West, in itself an incredible achievment.

  • Thats funny dude lol lol

  • THANK YOU for "Tributing" such a LEGENDARY BAND. Sure its not as Good. But it shows you just how much MOUNTAIN and LESLIE WEST meant to the world. Great music is just that... GREAT MUSIC!

  • "Doing Mountain justice" isn't really the point in live music, unless one is a Mountain-freak who listens to one artist only and checks out if any cliché is emulated. And one thing that is clear here is: these boys simply deliver with a lot of soul and a deliberated despise for exactly emulated playing. I like it better this way. Tribute? The word "tribute" is simply awful anyway. Why care for tags as "tribute" when a band is rocking?

  • Yes! This video shows me, simply, that these guys get it.

  • I was in the audience on this particular evening, and as I came to know these are members of great underground brazilian rock bands. They seemed to have a great big ball just playing some of the music they fancy to an audience who wanted to have fun instead of doing any serious analysis.

  • Tribute? Felix forgive them, for they REALLY know not what they do.

  • Drummer is not Corky. As a matter of fact, the whole band is not doing Mountain justice.
