9PM I would freak out when this music started on a school night! "Oh no I need to go to bed!" On weekend nights I would do favors for the animals at this time. I remember delivering Puck some clothes and it was the first time an animal changed clothes and I thought it was his pajamas :)

Amazing, huh? When I looked up Wild World though it said along with Totaka, there's only one composer, Asuka Ota, and the same music got carried over to City Folk. How sad. :(

Ahhh, I remember the days of rushing to Nooks to sell the last of the turnips before closing time... And getting up early in the morning to buy turnips and drop them all over the house... And getting yelled at by my mum for not getting off the 'cube at the exact time she asked because there was a phenominal turnip price... I'm glad i ignored her, I got 4000 000 bells out of it. In those days, you could only store bells in bags of 30 000, so there were bags all over the place, filling my pockets.

That version's missing the beat that starts in 0:17 , and in WW I find myself humming that part in. To me, Wild World is like the GC version but missing one big thing...like, it has an empty feeling that the GC version filled...

I feel the same way with City Folk.

GCN PG = Lots of character and 'flavor'.

DS WW = Missing a lot of that 'flavor' the original made.

Wii CF = Went back to it's old roots, but was still just kind of missing something. I think this was better than DS, but the original game made you more nostalgic.

I agree with you about 95%.

The first was a hit, nothing like it will ever hit the shelves and make a mark like ACPG did.

Wild World basically I felt like was a failure, but they had great ideas with the hair and hats.

City Folk made Animal Crossing regain it's name/fame, but we basically knew what to expect, not giving that same feeling of newness. Sure, new hats, glasses, bugs, fish, the city, but it didn't have the same effect the GC version had.
