I've been paying attention to my stats the past few days and well, it kinda pisses my off. I been at the same number of points for DAYS now. It says that I have 4777 points and well I have earned at least 500-600 points in the mean time. I should have been promoted a long time ago. Also the weapon stats do not register. WTF!!!!! i have owned this game for a few months now and have never even thought about this. I can see why people get so angry over it but i think it deserves a little justification. I am a wingman with about 7500 pts and the only damn reason i want to rank up is to get some of the cooler skins and paint jobs for my planes. I dont give a damn what rank i am i just wanna look cool while i waste people. Besides if i could finally get all those extra skins i would have more fun wasting ppl while i look good

Now I know why I get kicked off sooo many server for doing nothing wrong. Also the fact that it takes 4 EVER to rank makes it feel so much more rewarding. I used to think that a higher rank was more dealy than a lower rank, but this fantacy was short lived. Truth is that you do become more deadly but only by sheer skill and experience not by rank. For now ranking to General remains a dream to be fulfilled in about 10 years time.

These guys are all or are friends (Clan) and start a CTF game. They capture the flag and meet up and then pass the flag to the opposing team (their buddies). Each time a flag is captured by the opposing team member they gain a few points. They do this for hours gaining thousands of points without really playing against an enemy at all. Then they relish by showing off their "hard earned" rank during a real game except that they suck big time because they never got any real experience.

Pal, it can be hard to log in sometimes since Warhawk isn't a very reliable game. When you finally log onto a game and get kicked for playing because everyone else wanted to cheat, yeah that's no good at all.

While I could honesly care less about the stats, clothes, whatever... I do care about getting kicked from servers. Stat padders should simply be permanently banned by PS3 ID, so they can't play warhawk without getting another PS3.

I spose i agree with you here, but im really annoyed with one thing.

Getting points is hard in warhawk, i mean 1 point for a kill, 2 for a command point.. to rank up you often need around 2000 (well i do) and this takes aaaaages as you can only get around 80 a match.

Basically what im saying is, people wouldnt stat pad as much if the ranks werent so hard to achieve. and thats not just to you stanmanservant.

You're right, but then again, if it was easy to get every rank, there would be no incentive for people to keep playing this game. Ranks are only cosmetic, so it's best to just play the game for fun and let the ranks come as you go.
