  • this video looks like it's been photo shoped or something.

  • @edwardcullen8011 Your a idiot! I HAD a dove by my house. It woul coo coo, coo coo coo COO coo coocoo coo and coo ALL day, EVERY day! Reminded me of a annoying lil kid blowin a whistle, shut up already! I went online, bought a high powered pellet gun. Now it's quiet!

  • No wonder I never spotted that dern owl.

  • OMFG! I always thought those were owls making those sounds in the evenings!

  • Mourning doves nest in a holly tree right outside my window... I like thew cooing of mourning doves, but at 5:30 in the morning after being up all night with college coursework to get done isn't the best time... >_<

  • I love their sounds, so relaxing and beautiful. I always hear it in the evening, especially in the summer...starting from five to six o'clock is when they start to do their distinctive coo at 0:19

  • Beautiful!

  • ITS FAKE NOT REAL

  • cool cooing

  • They are so beautiful

  • god i hate the people who hunt these beautiful creatures

  • @animelover1082 If we didn't though, they'd over populate and push out other beautiful birds like the Blue Jay or the Cardinal.

  • @animelover1082 I kill them for food :D

  • @animelover1082 I know right!!

  • yea to comment on what other people were saying, I think baby attachment in humans l ike in birds, is strong attachment, but its not really love.

Real love is when one person or creature sacrificies their own life to let the other one live.

  • @o7jimmy

Oh yeah, they *can* live up to 20yrs if kept in captivity. Otherwise, out in the wild, they've got like 1.5yrs. Poor things. x/

  • OMG! 20 years?

Do they breed in captivity? Do yoyu have them under roof, or why do they live so long?

  • @Cronopioslover274

Yeah, if they're kept as a pet then they can live that long. Otherwise, these poor things out in the wild, live up to 1.5yrs.

I'm not sure if they're bred in captivity, but if they are, I want one. Really bad.

  • Is so sad to know this because they suppose to live better on their own. If these doves live 20 years as pets, it means the owner is a great bird lover! Even dogs in some rich people houses live only 4 years sometimes. They feed them with rotten food!

  • awesome, i'm going to use this on monday when I go dove hunting

  • Hey! I've just read in Wiki that these doves are one of the most wanted gamebirds. Are they tasty like chicken or different?

I just saw one female woohooing at my window. She was so friendly! I talked to her and she was just looking at me there!

  • i rescue 3 mourning dove and now are my pets and had 9 years old

  • That is so true and beautiful :)

  • I had one named Olive that I rescued as a baby. She was such a nice pet. Made my wood pigeon very jealous, though.

  • Thats how kids are concieved wood pigeon.

  • Isn't interesting how animals gets jelous? Poor things!

Babies, also gets jelouse. When I hugg or hold big siblings babies look at me sad and sometimes they get mad and yield at me! :(

  • Oh yes - I believe you! Animals are very emotional when they really love you. Do you mean human babies or animal babies? I guess either is capable of jealousy.

  • Yes, I think human and animal babies are capable to love so they also get jelous or insecure as well. Human babies get jelouse when care takers hug or kiss other children or hold other child on ttheir lap, in front of the baby. Is hard to share love!

  • Aw. That makes sense. I once saw a baby cow get jealous of a turkey because it got to sit in its human's lap. She was sitting on the ground with her turkey, and the huge young cow tried to sit down there, too. I guess we can't express love to everyone simultaneously, but if they can learn to take turns, there is plenty to go around.

  • Hey... we can write a book with our jelousy stories. You can call it: "It's my turn, Turkey!

And so you tell that sweet and touching story about the turkey who allowed baby cow to take turn and sit on the sweet lady's lap. I can picture all the scene already!

  • That is pretty funny! If the cow had succeeded, my friend would be history.

  • One day lady was a rice farmer,

Her rice farm was beautiful and the rice seeds were big

    like Coconut at that time,

Sudendly she use her baseball bat to hit the rice ball and the rice was broken into small peace soon disappeared somehow no way she can find the rice again...

At one day the Dove brings the rice from other part of the land and human can growth the rice again!

Dove is Peace of Bird and intellegent

so you and I can takecare the dove well.

    Thanks to read this story

    very interesting too

  • Such soft eyes.... very sweet video. Five Stars!

  • How do you make these videos?

  • you too! :)

  • To make that more realistic you need to make its neck swell up to 3x its size during the cooing.
