You can tell he studied classical performance. Wow huge talent! I went to college for classical vocal training as a Music Education major, and while many male vocalists sounded along the same calibar as Prince Poppycock, none of them has the stage presence this guy clearly has. That's the majority of the win right there. He made opera very enjoyable and I hope he comes to the Lyric in Chicago sometime soon so I can see him life. He should stage everything!!! Fabulous!

Everyone I asked said the top two would be the prince and jackie even after the contoversial final performace. They all said Peirs was stupid for buzzing him and right when PP got 4th everyone went WHAT!!!??? From this point i really wasn't paying attention but from the final three I said is it really that obviously rigged cuz the best act got elminted first. I predicted next to go was FG and then Grimm would take it. Is AGT really this obviously rigged? Lost complete faith in this show...

I have extremely mixed feelings about Lord Poppycock. On the one hand, I see him as an extremely talented and memorable performer and singer. But one the other, he is extremely weird and out there. My first reaction when I first saw him perform was 'what the heck, who is this weirdo'. It was only after I watched him for a while that my first reaction changed to 'wow, he is talented, I'm impressed... though he is still weird.'

So all in all, I am a fan though. I hope he goes far.

I don't get it. Sure, he's got an -ok- voice, he certainly doesn't belt out full-on operatic arias.. He only holds notes for a short time, and seems to have two ranges. He doesn't dance, he doesn't play an instrument, write his own music, or do anything other than amusing, mediocre-at-best renditions of other's works- with the same face paint, and interesting Victorian and Eduardian like outfits.

Someone, please explain to me why this run-of-the-mill drag queen has any exceptional talent???

@Freshbrood I think he's holding on to a lost art that few can do truely well any more. His makeup and costumes are all his own work, he does well for the songs that he chooses (seriously, how many men can perform those songs at all anymore?) and while no, he isn't Fritz Wunderlich, I prefer him to, say, Darren Hayes. He has wonderful showmanship, a fun personality, and people enjoy watching him perform. Sorry you didn't care for him, I got a real kick out of him. =-)
