Atari had nothing to do with the game's production. This version is made by Redfly Studios and the PS3/360/PC versions are made by Terminal Reality. Atari's just publishing it in North America after Activision dropped the title and production was started over a year before that.

I like both versions very much and will probably buy both eventually but for the Wii I probably would have made the same choice as the people at Redfly. I'm tierd of that. Every game that comes out for exampel 360 and PS3, the port it from the 360 and PS3 version get glitches and bad graphics! So do they with Wii too, usaly from the PS2 version.
From an Objective stand point the grafics for the wii version remind me of the 80's cartoon show and i think those that saw the show will like being able to play from that perspective on the wii.

Because graphics alone don't sell a video game. If you look back at the history of video games, the least powerful console has always come on top. Why is this? Simple, they had the games that sell. And in the end of it all, it's always about game play.

This graphics sucks, ps2 version will be identical with sure. Why the wii version isn't focused in the Movie? Because of that, this game suck compared to other consoles.
the problem is that third party game developers make a ps2 version and then port that too the Wii and add motion control. (like that Starwars game) this means the games will likley be fun and all but look about 50% as what the Wii should be capable off.
Unfortunately that is often the case but in this instance I think the opposite is actually true. I believe Redfly was commissioned to specifically create the Wii version but when Atari picked up the title they pushed the release back from October 2008 to June 2009. I hadn't heard anything about a PS2 version until recently so I think they're porting the Wii version to PS2 just because they have so much extra time - meaning that the burden is on the PS2 to keep up.
activision dumbass was the reason atari picked it up and it got pushed back, they thought spyro and crash was a better deal than ghostbusters, a move that cost them a lot of respect, even other publishers were calling them dumb
It looks pretty good. The screenshots make it look not as good, but seeing it in motion helps. I'm exhited since the Wii version will be pretty much the same as the PS2 version, which is the version I'll be getting. Good to know it won't be crap.
I don't have enough money to by an expensive 360, an overpriced PS3, or a useless Wii. I'm quite happy with my PS2 and I'm not wasting my money on buying a console that'll die out in less than 5 years anyway.

If it's dead then why are people still making awesome games for it? Lego Indiana Jones and Batman, Quantum of Solace, Call of Duty 5, the list goes on.
But if the console isn't broken, why fix it? If it continues to be a high-quality, highly-playable, well-loved system then why destroy it? Do you expect me to kick aside my PS2 the way so many did with their SNES? I love my PS2, and it continues to be a major player on the modern game market.

It is not hard. With the the wiimote you have to just point in the general direction of the tv, find a point that has your pointer in the center, and it works like a motion joystick

the problem is that third party game developers make a ps2 version and then port that too the Wii and add motion control. (like that Starwars game) this means the games will likley be fun and all but look about 50% as what the Wii should be capable off.
or atleast God off war 2 graphics. (better even)

Unfortunately that is often the case but in this instance I think the opposite is actually true. I believe Redfly was commissioned to specifically create the Wii version but when Atari picked up the title they pushed the release back from October 2008 to June 2009. I hadn't heard anything about a PS2 version until recently so I think they're porting the Wii version to PS2 just because they have so much extra time - meaning that the burden is on the PS2 to keep up.

activision dumbass was the reason atari picked it up and it got pushed back, they thought spyro and crash was a better deal than ghostbusters, a move that cost them a lot of respect, even other publishers were calling them dumb

It looks pretty good. The screenshots make it look not as good, but seeing it in motion helps. I'm exhited since the Wii version will be pretty much the same as the PS2 version, which is the version I'll be getting. Good to know it won't be crap.

I don't have enough money to by an expensive 360, an overpriced PS3, or a useless Wii. I'm quite happy with my PS2 and I'm not wasting my money on buying a console that'll die out in less than 5 years anyway.

Glad I don't have a Wii. This looks like crap on the Wii. Graphics don't make the game, but in this case it helps allot since it's movie based.

It is not hard. With the the wiimote you have to just point in the general direction of the tv, find a point that has your pointer in the center, and it works like a motion joystick

I just wish they had a option for male/female in the PS3/360 version. I'll be getting both games since they both look awesome in their spereate styles. Co-op will be heaps of fun on the wii and the live action element will be amazing on the PS3/360! Thumbs up for the GB games! =D

I'm still gonna get this version for the Wii and it will have the same story plot like on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions so who there's no need to whine about the cartoon style graphics on the Wii and PS2 versions. It looks good and I'm looking forward to playing this game when it's out in June.
I looking forward to hearing the voices from Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson in the game because they sound great.
