That store, Tom Sawyer, looks fantastic. I was really impressed to learn that they stock older kits. (I don't really know how rare that is in Japan, but it was cool to see Gundam X kits.)

in just 1 minute of watching this i have to come to hate north american hobby stores alot and i really really mean hate them alot the 3 hobby stores close to me have almost no Gunpla only 1 carries paint though they don't open till 2PM and the 3 again mostly only carry comics and have almost no figures they are really shitty i wanna go to japan there hobby shops are a million times better and cheaper (the 2 here up their price about an extra $20 to $40 except 4 the one in kamloops uped $100

There's only 1 store here like that so their selection is limited. It sucks really... Things are also slightly overpriced but it's not a major ding. It's a small price to pay to have a kit immediately in your hands rather than wait 1 to 2 weeks for it to arrive just to save, like, 10 bucks.

Though sometimes they majorly overprice... Like when Binaltech & Alternators Transformers were big. They had Binaltech figs on for $150 CAD when they were $40 online.

I really, really hoped stores in my place would arrange the boxes like that. Why? Because majority of the shopping mall at my place that sells Gunplas arrange the boxes as it was about to fall. It's tedious to hold on a box while pulling out another one just to see what's behind it.
