  • I played Paul Bratter once at our local theatre; 24 performances and it was one of the best times I ever had!

  • thumbs up if elle brought you here :)

  • she is a freaky girl ;)

  • Elle sent me here hahah

  • The Maid folding the towel's.Is she the mother in the comedy...Everybody love's Ramond..????

  • I sooooooo love this movie although the Broadway version with Richard Thomas (sp?) is preferred :)

  • @CarolineAnnMartinCAT heck yes! The first vesion I saw of Barefoot In The Park was the one with Richard Thomas.

This is my all time fave play

  • @BernieBuble Smiling as I read your comment... There IS a video'd version of the Broadway show with Richard Thomas as I saw it on TV in to 80's if I remember correctly. As much as I love this movie, it pales in comparison to the Broadway version. I think part of it is because the focus is 100% on that silly apartment and there's no music, no distractions, nothing that the actors can fall back on - they rely 100% on the dialogue and the acting...

  • Great movie! Thanks for uploading the clips and music! Great job! First movie my high school sweetheart and I went to see, and we laughed our heads off! My sweetheart was a younger version of Redford, only sweeter! Thanks

  • This is really a sweet and endearing movie. There is something really lovable about it that's hard to put into words. It's a simple little story about a newlywed couple starting out life in NYC. This was a big hit on Broadway in the early 1960's. My only compliant is that the movie version of the story needed to be beefed up a bit from the play. Otherwise, it just makes you feel happy inside. If your ever in a funk. Put this movie on and you'll good at the end!

  • I love this movie, we just watched this in drama class.

  • this is for all the politic reports here:

it's no doubt jane fonda is a beautiful actress and a really artist!

    second:

america had definitely a lot of criminal goverments! but these has nothing to do with jane fonda! cheers!

  • beats any 2011 movie

... i believe that n still i go to the movies with my friends

  • I listened to this in greek in radio version and it's amazingly hilarious!!!!!

  • Weren't Fonda and Redford both really red-heads?

  • Anybody notice Doris Roberts in that preview? She plays the maid for about 2 minutes.

  • classic...love catchin this movie when it happens to come on!! i like the weird dude with all the tuna cans piled in front of his apartment door...

  • Brilliant film.

  • He is so hot!

  • Simon is great.

  • Jane Fonda AKA Hanoi Jane - What a waste!!! If America was so bad, why didn't she stay in VietNam and live. What an AS*HOLE she is. My dad died so she could bad mouth America! Jane Fonda is a WH*RE!

  • My uncle died to give her the right to speak the truth as she saw it, and I was willing to die for it. Fonda never said America as a whole was bad, only that what it was doing was wrong. BIG DIFFERENCE. She has repeatedly stated that her one goal was to end the killing. She well understood the privilege she was born to, and has mentioned that as well. Why don't you find another target for your venom?

  • @Aquaria And my died in VietNam! My dad died because of idiots like her.

  • @schs1977 Oh, come on. She was right. Vietnam was a crime.

  • @frank47hammer - That's your opinion. Tell that to me and the millions of kids who lost their fathers in VietNam. My dad was fighting to protect your dad. My dad was shot at when your dad was sitting behind a desk, working at the office or in the factory. Freedom IS NOT free and my dad paid for my freedom and YOURS!

  • @frank47hammer Yep, it would have been better let the nazis be so you wouldn't be paying taxes now.... WTF??!!!

  • @marsc85 I never said let the Nazis win WWII; WWII was about the only war, aside from the Civil War, that was justifiable. But the American tax payer picked up the tab for liberating France, defeating Japan and Germany, and picking up the tab for rebuilding these countries and then allowing them access to our markets to rebuild their economies. There should have a reparations agreement, done over time, to repay the American tax payer and shift the bill onto them, not America. They started it.

  • @marsc85 After WWII, the tax brackets ranged from 23% to 94%! And it stayed that way, at 70% or greater, until Reagan cut the tax rates. The public debt went from 980 billion to 2.7 trillion during Reagan's presidency. He broke the bank. The tax revolt was a result of high tax rates left over from WWII, and exacerbated by Korea and Vietnam. The Vietnam War was an illegal action. Our country killed millions of people without a declaration of war on a country that was not a threat to us. The end

  • @schs1977 I respect your opinion, but look it up. All of our debts have been arquired through the military. From the Uncivil War, to WWI to WWII, to Vietnam to the present. We are broke because of the military. That is why we are so in debt, just like James Madison, our fourth president, said. He was right, look it up.

  • :54 Look! It's Ray Barone's mom, Marie! Was this what she did before she married Frank??

  • is there a song named "bearfoot in the park"

  • I don't think I could've gotten mad at Robert Redford. He was so cute, and sexy!! Their apartment reminds me of my first NYC apartment. Five story walk up, bad heat, and my shower was in my kitchen near the front door! Great little gem of a movie!

  • One of my favorites. Perfectly cast. Mildred Natwick has some of the best lines and she deliveres them perfectly! The original play by Neil Simon was autobiographical and based on his first marriage (his wife died of cancer). He later married Marcia Mason. For the account of this later courtship and marriage see "Act Two".

  • I saw this movie 5 minutes ago, i loved it, its lovely movie and funny too.

  • Jane Fonda was stunning, and phwoarr at Robert Redford

This movie looks hilarious, i must see it!

  • lol "unsquarest"

  • Jane Fonda was annoying in this movie. But then if I were married to Robert Redford during this time I would be all over him all the time too. But when she suddenly picked a fight wit him saying "I want a divorce" I was like give me a break.

  • yeah but u got to admit jane was hot

  • looove this movie!

  • she's the typical in-Love/on-honeymoon lady. I'm not on my honeymoon anymore but my hubby is like this guy. He doesN't like to socialize, meet new pople, go 2restaurants or parties, try new things, etc. My hubby is a boring British Scot even though he's only 1 year older than me. Maybe he doesN't like me anymore coz I doN't have her body anymore. The thing is, I doN't see him cheating on me, I'm sure he's not doing things behind my back. If he did, he would try to cover IT up, B nice...

  • I haven't seen the movie but judging by this preview it doesn't look like a comedy. It looks like a creepy dependency problem.

  • haha wow, unfortunately your right.

  • i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this film very very very very very very muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch!

    lol.

  • Saw a HIGH SCHOOL production of the play and LOVED IT, I'll be renting the film soon.

  • One of my faves!! Most ppl don't think of Redford as a comedic actor and he isn't, per se... but he's very funny when he's playing the straight guy. Jane's pretty funny in this, too. Love love LOVE this movie.

Thanks for uploading the trailer. =)

  • Damn...Jane Fonda was hot back then.

    And I'm 17 :p

  • @Sash5034 Yeah, some nice red hair she had and then some.

  • @Sash5034 Natalie Wood was younger and prettier than Jane. And she had a zillion times better chemistry with Robert Redford.

  • @Sash5034 I think she STILL looks good!!! And I'm 20. HE HE HA HA HO HO!!!

  • Love this movie, but REALLY love the music! NOT shamma shamma but the wonderful, happy, joyous theme music written by NEAL HEFTI! Mr. Hefti wrapped up the entire era and put it into some of the greatest sounds ever! Just as he did with The Odd Couple Theme and even Batman! We just recently lost Mr. Neal Hefti. If you are unfamiliar with him, you owe it to yourself to get inside his music! It was the greatest! Cheryl

  • omg i must be really sad but i love this movie its my favourite

  • jane fonda back then---a solid gold 10!!!

  • One of these days I'll meet me a wonderful woman who loves this movie as much as me. And we can sing Shama Shama Mel Mal Kamama while we're driving in my convertible. It'll be fun. Women these days, just don't know what good movies are.

  • LOL you think I am joking... oh well ... to the powers that be...

Sharma Sharma el ca mama its really early and I went to bed late

p.s. I decided to stop seeing Dr. Sharma he has become a bit of Jerk since he got sick and now wants to see me more often and is being really grouchy, I wanted to say mean but,,, anyhow I hope Dr. Sharma won't ruin "barfoot in the park for me
