Umm so how come she is not being honest? Isn't the fact of the matter that Rachel was crouched in a ditch and was not visible from the tractor? How come there is no admission that Rachel was not standing in front of a house as was claimed? (The house was photoshopped into the original picture.) I'd be more sympathetic if there was an honest statement.

Your statements are inaccurate. There were 7 US and UK eye witnesses and several Palestinian witnesses.

1) She was not in a ditch- the D9 was pushing a mound of dirt forward towards the house.

2) She was near the house. The photo you reference was taken at another time, however has become iconic. It is not a fake. LGF is lying.

I personally know the family that was in the house and have corroborated the stories personally with 4 eye witnesses.

I have seen the video & she was crouched in the ditch. You say "near". Fine, but she was over 300m away from the building. At least you admit that the "iconic" photo was modified to suggest something that wasn't even if you say "taken at another time". If you know the family then, they will tell you that the dwelling was taken down months after the event . I used to be sympathetic to the plight of the people until I realized that all these pics were being modified and events staged for PR.

The house was destroyed in October of 2003 while the family was held at gunpoint in the rubble of what used to be their neighbors house.

It would be odd if you saw video, because no definitive video has ever been released that I know of. None of the photos have been modified- the one of her infront of the wall backing down a bulldozer was taken another day, but NOT modified. I know the person who took the photo and have a full res digital copy of the original- it was not modified.

Israel paid 9000 "settlers" to move from their illegal homes in Gaza in 2005, but they did not leave. They control the sky, sea and all borders. At the same time, addl Palestinian lands were confiscated, ignoring pleas from the US. Israel regularly commits extra judicial killings, a war crime, and has severely restricted the flow of goods to Gaza. It is a shame that some Palestinians have turned on each other. Rachel stood for basic human rights and was killed by those actively denying them.

The reason why Israel closed their boarders is because they were bringing in so many weapons to strike them with. Gaza had an airport but they brought so many rockets in from their it had to be shut down. Look, I understand where you're coming from but Evergreen State doesnt have all the answers
