As you probably know you can buy everything from computer components to gaming equipment etc. You can buy camera gear - really anything. This tablet will include free 2 day shipping on ALL purchases done through Amazon.com as part of the included Amazon prime service. Apple has nothing comparable to that type of market place. BTW take it easy with the language.

But add into Amazon Prime, the free access to the Amazon Cloud Servers, Amazon App & Amazon MP3 which will soon rival itunes for size, an you have a product that in many ways will surpass the Ipad... In all respect its nowhere near a real competitor to the iPad 2. Its just not aimed at taking on the iPad 2, but rather grabbing the area of the market that Apple has not really addressed. Amazon's idea here is that people who want a tablet but don't want to spend £400 on a device they may not use fully will go for this. Its a very nice tablet and I'll probably pick one up, but I really don't think its taking on the iPad 2 directly.

@cwestsupporter You have to remember this tablet/color e-reader is very consumer-based. I wouldnt call it a midpoint because it is a different monster. If you are gonna be using Amazon prime, then I would go for it. If not, then you probably wont be using it to it's fullest potential.

@cacatu74 My buddy uses Prime on his laptop and loves it so I am definitely going to use it as much as I can for the free month they provide. The only thing with Prime is unlike Hulu and other program providers you have to rent episodes of newer programs. Though I can always use the browser to just go to Hulu I suppose. Overall I just hope it lives up to the monstrous hype it is getting.

@cwestsupporter Personally I think people just keep overlooking the fact that it isn't an iPad or a honeycomb tablet we see right now. Personally, I think it'll be just what I have been looking for. Too hard to be completely sure considering NOONE has had the time to really play with it just yet. I'm taking my chances tho and just getting it. We'll see what happens lol

@Bugside It's 199 bucks. Sd is not needed because you basically have unlimited storage via the cloud. Who doesn't have either a gps car unit or gps on their phone? As for 3g though I do agree and wish it had it. I'm sure if this does well at all the next one will include 3g.
