  • LOL About as Sophisticated as a Fucking house Brick.

its alright if you wanted to learn how to hit someone on the head with a stick: XD

  • Thanks for the upload. I really enjoyed the documentary.

  • its soooo true.

i was the same way....kendo helped me

    become a better person altogether.

  • i hope you guys understand that there are many misleading naration in this video. im sure this is how many cultures around the world gets the wrong impression of each other.

  • @dragonshit2001 What do you mean?

  • this is a very powerful documentary. definitely changed my views of kendo. thanks for the upload. im going to have a look at the different series.

  • Probably the most meaningful Kendo video I have seen along with the Eiga documentary, this 7 minutes are important...

  • Love the uploads, thanks. I've watched this one and the Samurai & Escrima episodes. I practice both Shodokan (Tomiki) Aikido & Kali (same thing as Escrima) and it was nice to get a view of them from about the same time I was born.

  • It would be nice to know what happened to Les.

If he is still doing Kendo, still in Japan.

This was filmed 25 ears ago and many things

were very differant at that time.

If anyone has any idea, please let me know

Thanks, I love the Kendo part

    of this episode.

  • The kendo part of this docmentary is so small. thnx for the upload

  • Look the part of the samurai

  • Yes watch the way of the samurai video I uploaded if you want Iaido stuff which is what kendo is based on.

  • @Akab6

The Samurai video is about Katori Shinto Ryu. It also includes Iai-jutsu but its an old complete system which also have Ken-jutsu,Naginata,Yari, Wakasashi and Tai-jutsu.

Calling it "Iaido stuff" mean heavily underrating it!

  • @Akab6 Both the Kendo and the Samurai videos were brilliant! Thanx so much for the upload!

As a former traditional (Aikikai) Aikidoka i didn't mind the long aikido part, because i think all these arts are related in some way or another.

  • @00RV00

    100 % Agree

But it is also the better part of this episode.
