  • I tried to make this one somehow, but till now I've just added some of that extra songs. It doesn't sound close to this one at all, but it's really hard xD Kinda like it the way it is now. May add more..

  • Can anyone make one wihtout Oasis, ive heard this one like 50 million times......its good but old.......i would love to hear american idiot ,american eulogy, and holiday mixed.....that would be amazing

  • @rickieingle101st This one only works so well because the songs are in the same key and have the same chord progression. None of the songs you suggested have the same chod progression.

  • @freakypom....i mean like put the guitar of american idiot with the lyrics of the 3 songs

  • @rickieingle101st I know what you meant. The vocals are in the same key as the guitar chords. That's why this one works so well. If you cut the vocals out of Holiday or American Eulogy and tried to put them over the guitar from American Idiot, it would sound awful because it would be mostly out of key.

  • @freakypom...thats true....sorry....i wasnt thinking about that

  • this is good shyt

  • lol

  • The one that wasn't on this album, the original boulevard of broken songs, was much better. This one pales in comparison.

  • @mcmike1994

Yes Wonderwall is all dropped a halfstep, when you put boulevard and wonderwall together you have to up the whole song to match it. It's half stepped down cuz the cello is tuned baroque giving it a fuller sound.

  • malisimoooooo!!!

  • @patypincha es divertido!!!!

  • its not as bad as i thought it was going to be

  • blow my mind!~!!~!!

  • So really this version only changed the first 20 seconds and then subbed Eminem's Dream On sample with the original song and added an extra effect at the end?

  • wow amazing remix!!!!!

  • das is geil^^

  • I love this version so much. The beginning is so much better than the original Boulevard of Broken Songs.

  • hahaha dean grey american edit and the hand with the mouse ¿how do you edit the pic

  • @AleCasablancas he just made a new one... the hand looks different than the hand from american idiot

  • @DjLegoLas1 Cause it's facing the other way

  • @PA1NFTW well party ben and some other outfit came together to make 'Dean Gray'

  • anyone kno where i can get this album?

  • @unoficial13thdoctor You can't get it, WMG had a legal issue with copyright and threatened to sue the groups who created "Dean Gray"

  • This is a great mash-up :)

    Very clever

  • where can I download this?

  • Ch'è sta merda?

  • If anyone happens to be wondering, Noel Gallagher of Oasis, Complained when Billie Joe Armstrong jokingly said he ripped off "Wondewall" When recording "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams".. (Notice how the guitar riff from each song sounds rather similar).. After this Dean Gray, (Parody of Green Day im assuming) Made a mash-up of the songs.. Based on the event above :))

  • my aunt lied

she told me SHE was the the one who remised these songs.

    Wendy dunlap YOU LIAR!

  • @FfCompHelpfF Thank You very very Mutch

  • why steal another guy's remix and pretend you made it?

  • What the Song on 0:59 ??

  • @faeler008 wonderwall, Oasis

  • The only thing I hate is when people reject music for being old. It's still good music, you like the music you like now, right? In a few years that'll be 'old music'. What are you going to do, reject it?

I'll listen to anything, really. If it comes on the radio, I'll like some songs better than others of course, but I won't reject it. I just don't particularly like things like rap, etc.

Anyway: I love this song. <3 Mash-up of everything awesome.

  • @squareguy365 TRUFAX. Nimrod was their best album for me. But that doesn't mean their new stuff isn't good, it's just a change in genre.

I agree that they're moving more towards pop rock which isn't as favourble, but it's still reasonably good music, and if they'd have stayed true to the punk they started in, they wouldn't be as popular or mainstream now as they are today.

I'd like to see them do atleast half of their next album as a tribute to, or in the style of, their roots.

  • Listening to it more I actually like it more if I don't think original Greenday. A tribute to their old stuff would be awesome.

  • Look at it this way. When you hear a song from a group that is new to you, you typically look into all of their songs to see if you like them. Well, with Green Day becoming more pop-rockish and mainstream, the deluded mass-media fed drones will start listening to them, and then maybe, in listening to their old stuff, they will realize what REAL music is supposed to be.

  • @Jpicc89

Although I have inclination to agree with you there, you can't blame people for liking modern music if they were born or gew up in the modern age. I'm quite young, I was born in 1994 and first experienced Green Day first with American Idiot, but I've bought all their previous Albums, 1039, Kerplunk etc and do prefer them over their modern albums.

But once a band changes, they don't go back, still a great one at that, but you can't blame younger generations for not liking older music

  • No, I can't blame them for liking today's music and not older music. I CAN blame them, however, for liking whatever group nowadays is "In", and dropping them the moment someone knew hits the scene. My sister, born in 1994 like you, is a total media zombie. A few years ago, she was all about Green Day when American Idiot came out. Then it was Simple Plan. Then Good Charlotte. Then Fall Out Boy. Then Panic. Pussycat Dolls. Miley Cyrus. Jonas Brothers. And now Lady Gaga.

  • The difference is, while some people like those bands for what they are, she rants and raves about how awesome they are, and then when she hears about the next person to be all the media talks about, she practically stops listening to them. I myself like a good deal of the music by most of those artists. Can't say I'm too big a fan of the last four mentioned, but the rest I don't mind. I will still listen to their music. However, she completely drops them when someone new comes out. I hate that.

  • Ah yes, trying to stay "scene" by listening to the media and thinking they define what is good for her. I know all too many who are the same. Don't see why people can't accept that with something as massive and large-scale as music, you need your own tastes that are unaffected by other's opinions and views.

  • Cause people are stupid. Seems a pretty valid reason for most of the shit I see people do, so why not that?

  • @Jpicc89 everyone is like that now. being born in '96, its really hard to find people who love music for what it is, not because its popular. its really annoying. and dont hate on your sister for being like that, shes just foolish. just be proud that you are one of the few that enjoy music for what it is.

  • Kerplunk is my favorite album by them

  • i almost consider the two almost like seperate bands, dookie, and american idiot era greenday are diffrent, american idiot is my favorite album and it got me into green day, but it made me buy dookie and then kerplunk, and kerplunk especially are very good cds

  • I had been having this song saved as 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' for years (and wondered why there're so many versions of it XD meh ~ i'm a fool)

  • I like how you put a mouse instead of a hand grenade!!

  • thank Dean Gray for that one, not me.

  • go to wikipedia and search for american edit

  • props on the youtube description: legal pwn ftw

  • green day is alot better than Oasis

  • @StuffedDerma69

    !!!!!YES YOU ARE!!!!!!

  • yes we kno u r

  • for god sake! it's a basic chord structure, commonly used by MANY bands. yes these songs do share alot of similaraties, and there was alot of copywright controversy caused by it, but who says it wasn't pure accident? it's not exactly the un common chord arrangement .. i think these remixes are fantastic.

  • @davoline1 Except its not a basic chord structure used by many bands. Its a chords structure made by Noel Gallagher and lets be honest Green Day stole it as they never payed for it.No i am like the worlds biggest Green Day fan but it doesnt make me blind to their mistakes now the song itself was good(Boulevard of broken dreams) But the chord structure was stolen

  • @ANTONYTHEBHOY

no, its a pretty common fucking chord structure, and the oasis song is in a different key if i'm not mistaken, with a slightly different strum pattern. listen to the goddamn songs man, they're different.

  • They didn't steal that chord structure....That is Wonderwall by Oasis....This a a guy who edited all Green Days music and made a cool remix of there album.

  • what song is it from 0:35-0:40

  • @AroundTheBlock135 sorry but how wonderwall was released in 1995 and boulivard was released 9 years later hmmmm..... btw soz for the long reply have logged in in ages

  • you need some musical education.
