To tell you "the rest of the story", after nearly 5 months in training, Paxton was released for a medical issue. I adopted him back and he is now a therapy dog. He reads with children and visits schools, nursing homes, hospitals and groups homes in the area.

Hi Robbin, I am a GEB raiser also. Island will be leaving for IFT Sat. 5/17 and also raising Babe. I think you have her sibling Beau in your Region. I loved your slide show. I had seen Paxton's car picture when it had been posted on GEB and showed it to everyone at work. Good luck with your new pup! Laura

We do have Beau in our region. He's a sweetie! (I'm back in the puppy group with him now that I have Nessie 2N08)

I wish I could take off from work to go and see IFT, but I can't this time. I am anxious to see how she does with the new way they are doing them. I will really be looking forward to the CD this time. She does good off leash work. I just hope she will be right on that day! Crossing my fingers for her!! I saw the picture of Nessie. Love the ears!

Thanks, Kelley. Someone at church on Sunday told me the same thing and my response was "I don't want to be the only one!" I met Pita and Pez today (Pez went in for IFT in March, Pita was the last pup today).

It was wonderful to see the whole process (and work in the puppy kennel yesterday!). Now it's the long wait for training and graduation........
