  • Haha everyone's brake lights went off when they saw you lol

  • how fast did you go??? i got 130mph outta my 04 before i decided to let off the gas. the bitch was just screaming so loud at 130mph it was scary! lol

  • If im right the second gen 95 - 2000 don't have limiters, i cant really remember

  • @weaponexpert1 thanks for correcting me, i did mean mpg not mph. Anyways, I still have my 2006 P71 and I love it still. The best car I had.

  • How does it handle at top speed? And does it hold stable at all at top speed, or does it start to wobble around a bit?

  • The roads look rather quiet in Sweden. There's no way you could do something like this on a British motorway, they're far too busy

  • For some reason i wanted you to bowl over that smart car as you merged onto the freeway.

  • Do these things haul ass? I'm wondering if i should buy one for my FIRST CAR. I want something that will turn heads and still haul ass. My mother had a Buick Le Sabre and that thing was huge, but it would FLY!! I'm not even joking..Pulling onto a free-way and within seconds it'll hit 70 she had it up to 83Mph but that was on a free way and we didn''t want to get in trouble.

  • @sqeker09 No, theyre not really that fast. They make a cool sound, have decent torque qand are very comfortable put for hauling ass..theyre kinda meh. Theyre not dead slow but there is plenty faster around.

  • @sqeker09 yes, they haul ass. but if you want a car which is about the same size, but looks (in my opinion) and handles way better - buy a 95/96 chevy caprice 9c1 (police package with LT1 and all that hard duty stuff). i have one myself and maaan, if you push the gas it'll bring you right to the moon haha

  • Best sound ever!!!

  • Put your foot into it a little more, lol...I always wondered why Ford failed to correct the driveshaft issue at high speed. You NEED a cop car capable of sustained high speed. I know the '94-'96 Impala SS, essentially a 9C1 Caprice mechanically, had no such issue, and it was good for over 140 mph. I remember back when the 9C1 was considered the cop's preferred hot rod, and the P71 was second fiddle.

  • @LateNightCable ahh yeah, those where great times - but i will always drive my B(eautiful)-Body haha

  • One thing for sure is, just like in this video, with my own 04 Crown -- the V8 engine sound and revs while punching it on the short LA freeway onramps to get up to traffic speed. It's something I never get tired of. :)

  • Now that's how u drive!!!!

  • heres a place that sells real crown victoria police interceptors..

    youtube.com/watch?v=rZFCmZJni14

  • this what i love about owning a CVPI, people see me passing by and they move out of the way, lol. i just bought an 09 all black unmarked from florida, ive been searching for this exact model for a long time.

  • I always see police fly by me on the highway like this CVPI is doing. XD This car hauls ass

  • Nice ride there!! What year was the Crown Vic from?

  • Were those people freaking out when you went around them doing 100+?

  • my 2005 goes every bit of 140 mph lol AND FUN DOING SO

  • Hahahahaha at all of the Europeans pissing themselves at the sight of a real car..... And to all the whinging Euros on here the reason Yanks use these as police cars is because they are POWERFUL... Unlike those poor excuses 1.0L, 2 cylinder heaps of shit that couldn't catch someone on a bicycle.....

  • @ttmm1133 your ignorance is showing,In Italy the cops use turbo Alfa romeos top spd 140,In Germany the cops use BMW 5 series top spd 160 and in Aussie the cops use V8 Vauxhalls top spd 160 also,so what really is your point?Real car enthusiasts appreciate all cars.

  • @ttmm1133 HAHAHA you're so fucking right, i mean - come on, who seriously builds a 1.0L car??? only europeans are dumb enough

  • and there went all ur gas money....

  • i bought mine over 2 years ago and paid 700 CAD! it was awsome i drove the bag out of it and rolled it and still drove it for a year after the roll over, the only problem when i got it was the heatercore and the only problem when i sold it was the passenger mirror was still missing. i sold it for 500CAD and now that its gone im looking for a new one, 2005 and up

  • @boobsmaster check your local goverment auction as every month they selloff former police CVPI's

  • Does this one have the 4.6 liter V8 engine?

  • @Astromchaser All Crown Vics have a 4.6L V8.

  • @Astromchaser thats all they come with

  • LOL at the gay ass smart car.

  • @1995sho I know right?!! LOL!!!!

  • Where is this? Doesn't look like the U.S.

  • when you where getting on the highway the first smart car or what ever was gonna race you then decided once he seen ur car umm no you can go. then when your passing the cars you see brake light brake light brake light they are saying oh shit oh shit oh shit lol love crown vics

  • you should take a video of the outside and put it up on here

  • that's a faaaaast vic in europe

  • this is europe and everyone is shitting themselves cause its a cool american car with a big proper engine, not some fucking 1.0 fiat or 0.6 smart bullshit!

  • This is awesome. It was somewhere in Europe. Right ? I'm looking forward getting one in about a week. Connecticut state police 2003. Blue . I think that 2003 has a speed limiter at 135 mph, than it was lowered again. Rented one in 2006 at Yuma AZ, it was a 98 and kicked some serious ass driving back and forth to L.A. This is gonna be my first .

  • do I hear a supercharger?

  • @dumapies nope...that's the natural whine of the crown vic V8

  • @chpman2013

    thats pretty sweet

  • how fast did u get it...110

  • @KaylaT91

to the speed limiter, I think it was 120 if I remember correct.

  • @Marauder252 On the spedometer on my 2004 CVPI says 140mph.

  • @Marauder252 Why are there speed limiters? & why would they ever put it on a police interceptor?!

  • @joewillgo Because the driveshaft is so long and it vibrates and flex's at the critical driveline speed. It is even far worse if you have steeper gears

  • @joewillgo You do not want a u joint to bind up at 120 due to suspension flex, it isnt nice

  • @Marauder252 what differential ratio is it? if it's 3.55, it''ll go only 120 MPH.

  • @KaylaT91 If you hit the rev limiter you were going 135.5 mph.

  • what was your top speed doing this vid?

  • this really captures the power and great sound of that v8

  • man that thing moves

  • damn fast as hell!!

  • Oh shit! That sounded awesome!

  • WHY DO AMERICANS USE THIS CAR AS A POLICE VEHICLE

  • @lilbigbrow Cause it is a badass car

  • @lilbigbrow,

    Durability and reliability.

  • man u had to have been pushin over 100

  • Thanks, I am going to look around for a Marauder in black to match my 01 P-71 my other 2 ,71's are white but I would take any color if the price & miles are right?

I still can't get over that these cars are going to be discontinued!!! That's why I have a few P-71's on hand? In case one gets wrecked! Thanks again for your help!

  • Marauder252, This is the best P-71 video, But have a question I take it you have the Marauder too? Out of the 2 cars, what car handles better & faster, your Vic or the Marauder?? I have 3 P-71's a 97, 98 & One 01. I just sold my 99 & kicking my self for doing it, guy will not sell it back to me!! Anyway I Need a replacement car? Thinking of looking for a Marauder but wanted to get some feed back from you, Is the Marauder worth the price?

  • @My01P71

I have a Marauder and YES it's worth the extra money, better engine / handling and a really nice interior. You should definitely try and find a nice low mileage Marauder while they are still available. Check the classifieds on motorcitymarauders com and mercurymarauder net , keep 1 of your P71's as a daily driver/ beater car

  • @Marauder252 Är det inte skit svårt att få tag i en Marauder? Byggdes ju inte speciellt många menar jag, å dem som har dem i usa släpper dem inte direkt =P

  • @My01P71 I agree100% with ya! this IS the best P71 vid out there showing realtime driving and speed

  • @My01P71 where can I get a P74

  • i love how all the other cars in the right lane are hitting the brakes saying..oh shit!

  • GOD Ireland dose'nt even have crown victorias overhere the Garda ((Police) use a few different types of police cars. Ford focus, Nissan Jeep, Ford mondeo ford transit vans some are volvos and soem opels and thats kidn of it for the patrol cars

  • cool! i have a 2001 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. it was white when i got it ( it still had the sheriff stickers on it). anyway i got a fix it ticket saying i had to have it repainted or they will have it towed. so i repainted it like the Bluesmobile.

  • sexyy carr

    they move like a monster

  • are these really only 250hp stock? I had a camaro dynoed at 250 and my crown vic feels a hell of a lot stronger.

  • Badass.

  • Very nice video, idk why you brought one to Sweden but good for you!!! lol

  • :17 to :35 Pure music to the ears. Forget a little 4 banger tuna can on wheels - V8 owns.

  • It's a shame Ford discontinued these cars,Our Sheriff's Office has a few still left but we've got Chargers which those will definaltly outrun the Crown Vics but the new "Police Interceptor" is only a V6 now won't be able to chase high speed vehicles and you won't hear the nice roar anymore it will sound more like a mosquito taking off but if anything I would rather take the new Chevy caprice PPv police car at least it's a V8

  • how the hell do you hold that wheel so well when passing by them trucks over a 100?

  • Dude what the fuck, why are you driving that fast? One little jerk on that steering wheel and you would have been in a crash.

  • @PepsiPope You've obviously never driven a Crown Vic before. I've had my '03 up to about 85-90 mph several before, and the wheel becomes smooth and the handling like a Ferrari. Ford put a rack-and-pinion steering system in on 2003 and up models, and it makes the cars handle super smooth.

  • @redoctober90 Fuck you stop whining

  • I have a 2006 P71 for about two years now and so far i never had any problems with it and my gas consumption is also between 17-18MPH! Overall its an AWESOME car!!!

  • @2003vwgti1 oh yes? really between 17 and 18 Miles Per Hour? ;) i think you mean MPG

  • Det skjuter på rätt bra ... dom e så grymt fina dom fordarna tillskillnad de vi har exempelvis focus eller fiestan o sånt trams men detta gillar vi :D

  • is this even legal just driving around fast without an emergency?

  • btw, he's not a cop, neither his car. it's illegal, full stop ! the police car looks different from inside obviously.

  • fun car no mucho dinaro

  • Looks like this one did about 125-130mph.

CV interceptors typically have a beefier suspension, higher amperage alternator, transmission and engine oil coolers and the washable floors.

  • my pecker just stood up

  • Wow looks like a really smooth ride, is it a smooth ride?

  • for stock thats pretty impressive nice:)

  • how much does one an ex-police Crown Vic run? I'm thinking of buying one

  • 5,6 thousand!!

  • 1 grand to 10 grand. Buddy of mine got an ex RCMP car, Black, Pushbar, Spotlights, Smart Siren, everything for 2.5 Grand, Check out Police Auctions.

  • yeah, I bought one recently :) 2007, from Munster Indiana, 69K, gray outside, gray inside, spotlights, and I just need a pushbar, any idea where I can get one?

  • @Marauder252, what color is your interceptor, and how much did it cost you? Have you had any problems with it, and honestly please, is it fuel efficient? Thinking of buying one for a every-dayer. It's an awesome and intimidating ride. - Mike

  • @EL173N3SS

This car is darkblue with gray carpet interior, it cost me 5300usd in 2007 in Chicago.

    Had problems with power steering.

And 17-18mpg average 20mpg if you drive like a granny.

  • How much is a simple tank of gas cost, im planning on buying one shortly and was wondering how much the car will cost me over time. Nice drivin by the way :P

  • PLEASE make some more videos of the p71 while you're driving and make it longer than this video.

  • @Marauder252--Nice ride. I have thought in getting one of these retired cop cars myself. How do you like it?

  • @Marauder252 Lmfao .." if you drive like a granny" . . HAHAHAHAH

  • @Marauder252 my 2001 cvpi now has the pursuit engine i ported the airbox cat the rear cats and have super 44 flowmaters i drive it like a cop car and average around 20mpg hope thats helps some

  • That is funny that everybody was hitting their brakes cause they thought you were a cop lol

  • Sweden uses Volvo s40's /v40's for their patrol.

  • @BlkSerialKilla

It's not breaklights, (you have to have the lights on at daytime here)

And there is no S40/V40 police cars here,99% are Saab 9-5 or XC70 / V70

  • yea my bad lol

I only saw a select few that were s40's

yea most of them are xc70's or v70's =D

  • @BlkSerialKilla If you think its worse, watch holland. They use volkswagens T5 and golfs :\

  • @scottdav82nd That's not even in U.S, why the fuck would people think he is a cop, not all the cop cars are the same in the whole world.

    Very dumb comment from you

  • @l1998 yeah I think the US and Canada are the only countries that use these as cop cars.

  • @scottdav82nd

I don't think so, he lives in Sweden. They have volvo's.

  • @scottdav82nd I promise you that isn't the case. Looks like he's in Sweden judging by the road, surroundings and the number of Volvos and Saabs he passes...and in Sweden the cops drive mostly late-model Volvos.

  • @scottdav82nd Are u nuts or what? the video is of a p-71 driving?

  • @brandweerBoZMax wtf does that have to do with anything. I just happen to make a comment on that a year ago... GFY

  • @scottdav82nd Oh sorry mister important, sorry for runing you're thumbs up command.

  • i own a car like this. The best p71 is one w/ an aluminum composite drive shaft with the P.I. engine, first available in 2001. I own a slightly modified p71 2001 and have clocked in speeds of 151mph. w/ a k-40 radar. At 80mph. these cars really come alive!

  • @carlorocky aluminum driveshaft was avalible before 01 bud

  • ya, definetly made for acceleration at the higher end of the spectrum.

  • Is this Finland??

  • @hirvi93

Sweden (The video was filmed in february 2008)

  • 1,000,000,000

  • how much would that speeding ticket been?

  • 4000sek = 350usd , but the highway speed limits here are very loosely monitored and there is no highway patrol here.

  • driving a car here in germany is very expensive. But speeding on the authobahn is free....

  • AWESOME!!! It's like playing a video game...lol

  • Wow, it's always nice to see us cars driving in europe. This one is freakin fast :) 5 stars

  • would u sell this car?

  • my first guess was czech republic because the road sings looked very much like the ones there...

anyhow - awesome car and awesome sound.

    thanks for sharing!

  • Was this in the United State? The plates on the cars and the signs and the way the roads look tell me otherwise

  • the 04s don't have the marauder airbox do they?

  • 2004 and newer P71's have the Marauder airbox, hence the 250 HP.

  • Epic!

  • how fast did u go?

  • That was awesome. How fast did you get to in this video?

  • This has to be my fav vid of a Vic driving!! LOVE the sound it makes, the mean roar!!

  • I'd love to import one to the UK. I absolutly love the Crown Vic.

  • this particular version of the Crown Vic is pretty intimidating,

  • I miss mine :(

  • Same here dude... I traded mine for a ranger.. big mistake!!

  • Hah, funny thing is I traded mine for a ranger too. I just bought a 96' LX tho so im back to normal :P

  • mmmmmm.. delicious. I want one. f the haters

  • the engine sounds terrific! :) Ford Crown is a great Car!

  • Is this in Europe?

  • CrazyCor15,

No, it's not. Look at which side he's driving on, it's the right side of the road :)

  • ehh u dont know anything about europe then. 90% of them drive on the right side and its definetly europe.. look at the roads en trucks not to mention the smart
