I disagree with HermosaCrab, The free beat technique means the artist has no rights at all, there is no contract involved. The artist may download the beat, use it for non profit. but what the producer says, goes. At anytime the beat can sell exclusively, that makes the beat unusable straight away. you can get heard with it, but you cant remake the song on the same beat when you get signed to a label. Credit all you want, you wont get far.
