I bought this same ocarina at Pike Place Market last year and it's become a family favorite. The small pendants are cool and get lots of comments while being worn but they can be loud and shrill sometimes. Both my husband and infant son love the low calming tone of my big blue raindrop, it even puts the baby to sleep!
Okay, next up in my videos, I'll do a tutorial for a lullaby on my raindrop. Thanks for sharing that story, it's sweet. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I love mine too.
They do make many smaller 5 holers. If you peek at any of my other videos you can see some of their variety. This "raindrop" style comes in three sizes, and I've got the large one here. They also have a brand new 'mini' of the kind you already have at the same price as yours. Its a five holer and they play very sweetly.
I do remember you! Finger English style. Take a peek at my own "video response" above there Called "I have a raindrop" This will help make sure you're holding it right. Be sure to put your left thumb on the fifth hole. If that is tricky, try taping the fifth hole firmly until you can play the first four holes. Also check your fingers to see if you're covering the entire hole. Go across holes, not in. Practice a little and let me know how it goes!

I love that sound. I have a clayz zelda ocarina and i really want to get one of these. Do they make the 5-holes in a smaller size?

Hi!
I bought a small raindrop yesterday, do you remember me?
It sounds weird when I finger the 'English style' fingering. should i finger it differently?

Wow, Kristie! Fantastic! It must feel so great going around and teaching people about the ocarina. I really envy you!
Beautiful playing, by the way! I loved hearing those "Ohh's and "Ahh"s from the audience! :P
