Why do you need a firetruck if the guy had a heart attack?

@InsomniacLegit Because, a Engine is needed for manpower and because they have certain equipment that the medic does not. Lets say that Medic 17 is dispatched to heart attack, okay "Medic 17 on scene, be advised we have a victim laying on the ground inside the house and we have no way in, we need a Engine company to force entry." Okay, so while that patient is laying their dieing you have to wait for an engine company.

@InsomniacLegit Also, lets say it's a apartment building, and you need help getting the stretcher downstairs while the patient is on it, then what? Yeah you have 2 paramedics but what if that patient is overweight, then you might need manpower. An Engine company on a heart attack can make a great difference. If I could explain it better I would, just try looking it up.

@FDLCRescue also some towns only have volunteer ambulance corps and that mean there r no medics and most firefighters are paramedic trained and they r dispached incase they need to give something
