I can remember seeing Roni Size at the pyramid stage at Glastonbury over a decade ago. I can't remember what year it was, but it kicked off. One of the best things I've ever been to. Seemed like about 100,000 people going nuts. The second time I saw them it wasn't so good for some reason - the sound system wasn't turned up enough.

I was 22 into Primal Scream. Got tickets for Victoria park in 1997 and Roni Size were supporting with Asian Dub foundation. The Roni Size album had had great reviews, i wasn't into drum and base but i bought the album and the gig was one of the best i've ever seen. If i'm honest then were better than primal Scream. They seemed so inventive. It's a shame they didn't go onto massive things.
