Munkus and Rum Tum are like complete opposites and seem to bicker a lot, but then they seem like those bickering friends =) I also like how Dueteronomy and Mistos are like the only people Rum Tum admires more than himself! Teehee =)

What cracks me up (they obviously can't really do this in the stage version) is how Old D comes out of nowhere from the outer corner (at one scene Griz does the same thing). Ken Page, who plays Old D in this movie version, was probably out in the middle of the audience (or what would be the audience if they were performing it) waiting for his cue to walk up to the steps to the stage!

'CATS' has to be one of the very best plays I've ever seen. Wintergarden, NYC, 1987. Cats came out into the audience and there is no way to describe with words how we all felt--the music, singing, feel, and the way the cats made us feel...
