man, these trucks are so reliable. i love my 85 4runner, but the only problem is that it's got no balls. Many times i have to go up a hill in 2nd gear with a line of cars following, but i guess thats what happens when you have a straight 4 in a 3800 lb truck.

i have 5.71 gears in mine and it WILL perform haha, very dependable too, especially the motor, i have the original motor with a glasspack on it and it still runs great. But mine has rust on the frame, the guy before me that owned it lived in pennsylvania other than that really no problems from mine.

also 85 is the best year to get because first year to come with fuel injection and last year to have straight axle so it should be a good buy
