can anybody rebild my 1996 cr125 for a disent price some dude left the spark plug out of it and it got a buch of mouster down in the hole and it rusted every thing so so tell me if its even worth a try
1986. Fast, dependable, serviceable stock rear shock, front forks were the best. Post racing life for me. I rode this bike hard for four years.
1994. Wow what a great bike. I used this bike for Vet class motocross and AMA National Hare N Hound. Rock solid dependable. Purchase in new condition in 96 and rode the piss out of it for four years. This bike really went through the ringer with me and never let me down. My current KTM is a Honda copy.

1980... Smooth power but not enough. WP shocks with aluminum swing arm and DG pipe.
1981.. Faster than Suz, Yam and Kaw. Very unreliable. Failure of transmission, pipe, swingarms, cylinder, frame breaking and pipe was too low and smashed on ground. Fox Twin clicker single shock. Won four local expert races with it.
1984. Fast but prone to engine failure. Exhaust port was too large.
I agree. They started making them cheaper and crappier after 2001. Lost all the good things they ever got out of the motor.. Thats why I have a 2001 CR250R... the LAST year of the good motors.
the 2001 frame sucks. Have u ever ridden the third gen aluminum frame cr 250? It handles a TON better than the shitty ass frames before it. And yea the motor sucks for most people but its got a top end that cant be beat by anything.
I'm gonna miss Honda 2 strokes so much, never got a chance 2 buy a new 2007 125 and there to dam hard to find one. Luckily i have an 01 250 and that year was the best for them.
