Fuck me, how thick are some of you ? There is no hacking going on here, its basic cmd prompts. ipconfig/all will only find ip adresses of computers on your network. You won't findyour buddy down the roads IP Address.

Also when you try it on your own computer, to cancel the shutdown, go to run and type in 'shutdown -a' which will cancel the shutdown.

umm, are you an administrator??if not, just pin CMD to ur start menu, and when its there, right click it and click "Run As Administrator" and then try it, im not sure ifit will work or not

by the way, there's easier ways. all you need is an IM program, then, you need to add the person you want to know the IP address. then you tell him to to send you something such as a song or what ever. while the file is transfering, open cmd and type "net user" without the "s and you''ll see your IP address and the name of your computer followed by the person's IP address.
