  • All of Scripture teaches the unacceptability of homosexual behavior. But the rejection of this behavior is not an arbitrary prohibition. It, like other moral imperatives, is rooted in natural law—the design that God has built into human nature.

  • But the Sodom incident is not the only time the Old Testament deals with homosexuality. An explicit condemnation is found in the book of Leviticus: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. . . . If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them" (Lev. 18:22, 20:13)

  • Love is love! that's all that matters

nice video n don't bother listening to the negative!

  • @kennyfan01 Absolutamente.

  • rightrightright!

  • GAY! GAY! GAY! to many gay people, right before the romans fell they had too many gay people

  • How many is 'too many', praytell?

  • As a Christian, I'm telling you all that being gay is not a sin. When the bible talks about homosexuality, it is in the context of rape, orgies, and worshiping idols. This is not the same as two people of the same sex loving each other and having sex.

I have a link that explains this in great detail on the left side of my channel if you want to read about it. The bible is ok with gay marriage.

  • Thank you very much for commenting!

    I agree.

  • I think it is hilarious that straight people think that being gay is a choice. If that is the case,... some day just make the choice to jump down on your knees and take care of the same sex object in front of you! Not any one can do that. There is some type of heart you have to have to make that move. You may choose to in a regular heterosexual have anal sex. In fact it is my understanding ... lots of straight guys have no problem with that choice.. hummm.

  • I think it's a choice, personally, I don't think it's a conscious choice though. Or really, a reversible one. It's something in the subconscious, and trying to reverse something back there is like trying to stand on the railroad and stop a train. And yeah, I think it's only guys don't want to be taken advantage OF.... ironically, this is something they do to girls.... hmmm.... power thing, maybe? I think so.

  • Gay people are not acceptable in my eyes:

    1. the bible says homosexuality is a sin

    2. i only aid in my eyes i don't really care if they ae not near me.

    3. i do care if they get married. marriage is between a man and a woman

    4. gays should not be able to adopt it just isnt healthy for the kids growth.

That is briefly how i feel about homosexuality

note: my sister is a lesbian

  • 1: I"m a Christian. Is the Bible the authority on all things? Not always. Plus, it contradicts itself so many times in different places. But what about Love thy neighbor? Apparently that doesnt apply to gays?

2: I dont understand this comment at all.

3: Since when has this been a rule? It's the norm. Not a rule.

4: What about single moms/dads? Being raised by a grandmother? No parents are better than gay parents? How is it not healthy?

And do you treat your sister the same way?

  • .........

    1. the bible is not always the answer...

    2. WTF.....?

    3. marriage may between man and woman BUT it is also about love.

    4. I'd rather have two dad's (or moms) then a disfunctional or non-existant family.....

  • Amen to number three.

  • @kclvrcma27 adopting isn't good for kids? First of all, gays are just like you. Fuck you the bible could be wrong. Second, gays might not want to have a kid. Maybe the responsibility is to much pressure. Third, I don't I like that the "holy" bible states that because of how someone is born, they are forbidden to love. Third, a good friend of mine is adopted, and she acts just fine, so basically you are saying adopted people are messed up. I can go on and on all day. Try me.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I am also Christian and am glad to hear someone else standing up for us (and all religions). I really find it infuriating that many people claim that (all) Christians are anti-gay and bigots. While it is true that some Christian people don't accept homosexuality on any number of levels, I want people to realize that at the same time there ARE Christians that believe gay people have rights too, and should still be treated equally.

  • Yush, high five :P

  • It sucks, but the world will always be full of hate...

I'm bisexual, I don't like it when people say such things as "Homosexuality is a sin, or an abomination, or is nasty".

I agree and these are some really strong opinions, and statements. <3

  • Thank you.

In fact, this video was partially inspired by my history teacher. He sat us all down one day and told us not to say "You're gay", and gave us a talk about how it's harder to do what you think is right and stand up for the not normally accepted thing, or you can just let it slide. I dont want to let it slide.

  • Well said and very full of facts. Sadly religion has often been used as a way to control the way a populace thinks. And besides anyone that says gays are wrong are saying god is wrong.. seeing as he made us all in his image.. And as far as I know.. God never makes a mistake ever.-

  • Amen to that. I've used that quote before and been met with a comparison to Hitler. Good god, gays are NOT like Hitler...

    Thanks for the comment <3

  • Oh boy! Someone comparing you to Hitler because you choose to understand that the world is far more diverse and far more wonderful then most people care to understand? I shudder and weep for those closed minded people.

  • No, gays to Hitler. But, same, on that point.

  • Well... I'm ortodox (idk how to write it down ) and i feel the same way too. I mean, i get you'r point. Other than that i realy want to apreciate you opinnion and the fact that you stood up and sayed what you wanted to say.

  • *Orthodox. :D

Yes! I have people from other denominations backing me up! Thank you so much.

  • i get what ur saying im cathlioc and i have gay friends

  • Yay for support!

  • took a litlle too long but i value your opinion

also i am straight and greek

  • Sorry haha.

I was completely improving, and my skills with speaking are little to none, unless I know what I'm saying.

  • i agree and on the subject what about the bi-sexual men and women. At my school all the time they get made fun of and i personally think that it is wrong to make fun of anyone. I personally don't agree that it should be a sin to be bisexual or homosexual. for one thing even if they were doing something wrong they could be doing much worse than liking they same sex or gender or whatever you want to call it. p.s. i am straight!!

  • I totally get what you're saying. Murder should be a hotter topic than gay marriage, yet for some reason they can come to terms with that--and CANNIBALISM (search Czech Cannibal Family) more easily than they can the concept that gay people deserve their rights.

  • If every Christian had your common sense and courtesy, I would have never left the church. Keep saying what you are saying. Eventually everybody else will catch up. Jesus loved everybody. That is a historically documented fact.

  • I was raised in a branch of Christianity and by a mother that both encouraged thinking between the lines of what the Bible says (given the crapload of contradictions). I have to attribute it to that. And thank you for commenting, very much. <3 I love your videos.

  • Christians are kinda, old. Everything is from the past, just rewhrite the bible.

  • Well, it's not a simple matter of rewriting the bible. And every religion is 'kinda old' at this point. Haha.

  • On 'love thy neighbor'-

"Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him."

Not many people get this. However, the way I understand it, is if someone is sinning, you tell them of their sin and how it's taking them to hell. You do this not because you hate them, but because you love them.

    ---

Also, there is nothing wrong with your voice.

  • Well sure, you've got a good, logical argument here, but I have to bring up the fact now that not all people are Christian, and plus, wouldn't you say that telling them a certain number of times is enough? Once they're "informed" of this, it's no longer in your hands, nor is it your business, yeah? I mean, I'm sure every gay in the world knows they're "Going to hell" at this point.

  • There are only two bible verses I can think of that pertain to the subject, I'm sure there are more.

    On 'gays'-

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination"

That's plain as day. Not sure about lesbianism though, I'm sure it's against the natural law/order.
