@dark7element this is Kenshiro we're talking about here, the same person who dodged a tank cannon blast earlier in the series from only 50 ft away. Kenshiro is incredibly fast, fast enough to dodge Shin's hundred knife hand blows, something General Barcom ate like a slow turtle and died immediately. imagine Kenshiro's shock when he sees a person who not only moves fast and is a guy bigger than him and slightly taller, but one of the few guys that can make Kenshiro look slow.

@dark7element souther is so fast that kenshiro wasn't even able to counterattack or block souther's first attack properly, that kenshiro got cut on his face. souther is one of the fastest guys in this series, a close second only being Juuza, but Juuza hasn't teleported behind machine gun fire.

@dark7element in other words rollerskates couldn't move as fast as Souther could, Souther glides forward, a lot like M Bison from Street Fighter does, hmmm.... come to think of it, M Bison does act a lot like souther, almost has the same boots as Souther too. and btw if it was rollerskates, kenshiro would have roundhouse kicked souther's head before he could come close. rollerskates move too slow even for the average joe.

He was coughing up blood, and would have weared down from ken's hits, but souther's speed was able to strike him down faster than ken can with nothing but brute strength. That's why pressure points were needed to be discovered on souther's body, since it would have taken age's for souther's body too feel any major effect's. Which is also why raoh didn't use pure strength, or he would have been struck down as fast as ken.
