It's absolutely sure that this was a bird. What else? Occam's Razor is always a good method and it's always right :) First of all it was not very fast. Maybe a 50 miles/h. Secondly it was very close to the cam in relation to the mountains (thats why its blurred). It passed through the picture in approx 3 frames (around 0,12 seconds). The horizon is covering around 20km. Assumed that the object was located close to the horizon, its speed would around Mach 166.

interesting video. April 7, 2008, I was flying from Merida to San Francisco, CA by way of Mexico City. I was looking out my airplane window, to the ground below and I saw something white flying very fast in a straight line, which seemed to be very close to the ground. I don't know how far up we were flying or exactly where we were flying over, but it seemed incredibly unusual to me. Maybe this is the same object.
