As an a big fan of the Wizard I was not too happy with this album. It was pretty much a rehashing of Witchcult without any newfound heavy revelations. Their sound even was a lot less powerful than past albums--I felt a bit deprived of heaviness--maybe by a couple hundred pounds

probably cool live, but the production quality sucks. i get the old school sound, but i've always hated the shit production my old albums had. most of my old catalog doesn't get played anymore due to that fact. this just sounds like mud

@madcatproductions That's the whole idea, it's supposed to sound muddy, adds to the atmosphere of heaviness they already have. With newer stuff it's so easy to have over polishing, and fixing things that really don't need to be fixed, because it's all digital, anything with the click of a mouse.
