But on the matter of the Indian tribes, they should be given subsistence training and an ultimatum to comply with actually implementing designed subsistence infrastructures, or lose funding. That way, they could receive only primarily a modest amount of critical assistance in order to have the necessary raw inputs that their -- or anyone's -- independent subsistence requires.
But subsistence training means hands-on education, and they must submit to that or lose aid.
As soon as I saw Yaron Brook, right away I knew this whole thing is being framed by the notoriously context-dropping Ayn Rand community. So let's talk about how Bill Gates and Microsoft REALLY rose to power, m'kay?
Bill Gates' daddy is an ultra-powerful and ruthlessly mercenary PATENT ATTORNEY from Seattle, and that's who "innocent Li'l Billy" has had in his corner -- FREE OF CHARGE -- to help him with his ruthless business contracts against everyone he set his sights on.
Using this power over business contracts, Bill Gates rose to power NOT by providing "the best software", but by BINDING vendors into contracts that he CONSISTENTLY VIOLATED by promising the delivery of crucial operating system software by a certain date, and then LEAVING THE COMPANIES LOCKED INTO COMMITMENT until WAY after the agreed-upon delivery date. And where do you think he got the legal leverage to hold his victims to contract like that?
THIS is why I call the Ayn Rand cult of "objectivists" to be bundle-fraudsters, because they constantly bundle systematic lies and omissions in with their "rational justifications" for "brave, independent capitalists" like Bill Gates.
If the Bush-CIA assassination axis hadn't systematically sabotaged the emergent industries of alternative energy in favor of petroleum company crony capitalism, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now. The petroleum monopoly we all take for granted was never in ANY way "inevitable".
And so, now, because of governmental puppeteer pseudo-capitalism, everybody is now so conditioned to think that government MUST "of course" commandeer this new alternative energy shift.
Everyone depends on the government so what does that make everyone freeloaders. Shit who wants to work hard for shit while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Capitalism is no better either is socialism. As long as this country remains patriarchal then there is no justice for anyone just the rich and powerful.
this video clip is wrong on all levels. He fails to mention our unique status with out "trustee" the federal government. They deal with us on a gov. to gov. basis and because American decide to be the beneficiaries of the cheap real estate targeted against my people the federal gov PROMISED US health care, education, land, and other services. And I can show affluent NDNs on every tribe like he did, can't fool me.
@scumgod13 Amerindians came from Asia. If you say your culture and identity developed here well I would hardly consider no alphabets, no government, and no inventions like the wheel hardly a civilization. Europeans gave you your history, identity, and preserved your way of life against tribes like the Iroquois, Aztecs, Mayans, and Apache who were genocidal.
@IrminC actually we had civilization we were not colonized. It those who feel they need those inventions to feel superior. Who is the savage really when you have to put yourself on a pedestal and say because you don't have certain things then you are not civilized. They did not preserve our culture they transformed it to fit their fairytale. They is plenty more evidence that we did not come from asia then if we did.
this made me sick to my stomach. all the more reason why fox news is disgusting. look at all that government handout money that went to the INTERNET! Yeah what a disgrace THAT was! Or the manhattan project! What a failure that was. jesus christ.
@recto89 You are correct! Ben Chavis also wrote a great book on contemporary education called "Crazy Like a Fox." As far as I know, it's the only recent book on K-12 education that doesn't make you want to gag because of its sugary-sweet emphasis on political correctness.
If I had hair, I'd be ripping it out by the handful! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whenever they say the government is going to invest money, they really mean someone is fixing to get riped off. If your a Keynsian then you can find a rationalization of how the money will trickle down to the economy. But the problem is the things seen and things not seen. In other words, how would the money have been invested by the people if the government hadn't " invested" it for them?
John Stossel is the MAN! Thanks for loading.
