  • epic opening

  • AWESOME. LOVE.

  • Very sad song... Obviously nostalgic. It breaks my heart even when I'm so happy. I, yet, love it very much.

  • Very very underrated.

  • This song makes me want to cry. It's as sad as a death. The death of Moloko.

  • <33333

  • gorgeous, as always

  • Jebo te kakva pesma aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • the clanging sounds at the end are truly haunting - beautiful work

  • greatissimo!!!

  • eerily melancholy.

It's nostalgic and sad and triumphant and defeatist all at the same time.

Almost as if it was written about a terrible tragedy at the moment the author made peace with it, and they still wanted everyone to recognize the pain of it, while also recognizing the ultimate resolution.

  • @Zemunelo83

this isn't about anyone dying. its about a break up. In fact it's about Roisin Murphy's break up with Mark Brydon. The whole album tells a story about their relationship and break up.

  • @gazmondcantona7 Thanks!!!

  • Beautiful

  • I can't listen to this song enough. And now I'm depressed.

  • hah radiohead overrated.... i think you overrate your brain!

  • FUNFUCKINTASTIC !!!

  • the bells at the end, 9:00, 9:10, 9:20 and on, are somehow reminiscent of Silent Hill. Were they use there? There' this great clip of Silent Hill nurses dancing to the Ramalama Bang Bang somewhere too. :)

  • This song is so classical and so strong to the ears... I love it 'cause it gives me the chills everytime i hear it. Great music.

  • so talented (2)

  • so talented.

  • yet moloko is not quite trip-hop, is it? they were quite all over the place, as roisin herself admitted.

  • Extra!!!

  • Vrhunska!!!

  • love it! the emotions seem subtle but then become clear and strong.

  • your kidding right? That 'atmosphere' is called trip hope hehe. Female vocals over trip hop music bed, Moloko is pretty awesome. I love Moloko and honestly get VERY bored by Radiohead (one of the most overrated bands of all time). Definitely nothing that I would say "Radiohead" created, what Radiohead did that was pretty unique was to play trip hop but have a whiney male singer over topic, instead of the usual 'sexy' trent reznor/tweaker/portishead etc. style. He whines/cries instead all emo :)

  • Whaaat? Radiohead overrated? Dude, you should listen to "Ok Computer"... Pure geniuses!

Anyway, that's a Moloko video: they are awesome too! Great track :)

  • DOBRA!!!

  • Mało powiedziane ziom :)

  • Perfect lyrics for when someone you still love has moved on with their lives...

  • @treeoftears damned uncanny! sounds like me n kat' !

  • jebeno ....

  • This song along with "Statues" are their deepest songs. I love both and the album too. Pure genius!

  • Last track on Moloko's last album... they couldn't have come up with a better finale than this. It is my favourite Moloko track. All in all, their music was often not my cup of tea, but there are a couple of tracks that are among the most beautiful I ever heard, and this is definitely one of them.

  • ddfgd

  • love it

  • very nice song

  • I have always thought there is something exceptionally magical and powerful about this song. Something that is very difficult to put into words, something that very few songs actually manage to convey. It's captivating, soulful, very dark and melancholic as well, yet so heartbreakingly beautiful. This is without a doubt one of those larger than life songs that will never lose their magic. Simply breathtaking.

  • you said my thoughts :-)!!!!!!

  • @Sonorissima holy crap you use big words

  • Wonderful bass working!

  • One of my very favorite song of the band. Amazing!

  • It baffles me that most people only know that crappy remix of Sing It Back.

I love the fact people in the comments on this video notice and realize what a fucking epic story their music is. You can feel the changes in their relationship throughout the 4 albums... even though I didn't become a fan until after they broke up (Ruby Blue introduced me) I saved this song as the last one... it breaks my heart to hear the pain they went through. It's gorgeous. Best band ever.

  • Probably THE best song moloko ever did. perfect...so much emotion contained in one song.

  • lsd

  • Ten minutes of heaven......

  • i sooooo agree....

  • It sems to be a heady mix of catharsis and retrospection. The background is rather interesting. She walked up to him at a party and said "Do you like my tight sweater? See how it fits my body!" Their first three albums came out while they were a couple and then they split up, forcing their fourth album to be rather different. They retained the song-writing and creative strategy, and 'Statues' is perhaps their best album to date. In my opinion truly magical. Remember to play it while reading...

  • Crashing...

  • so beautifull that the 10 minutes seem too short...just perfect...

  • Allow me to be every noise in your ear

    Says enough right?

  • Amazing strings!

  • moloko kick ass!

  • my fav moloko song ever. defining the genius that is MOLOKO!

  • You are everywhere I go

All the places we have been

I cant imagine where you are

For you are all Ive ever seen

    Over and over.....

    incredible!!!!

  • the best almost ten minutes in my life, thank u so much

  • the perfect end song for moloko

  • One of the best Moloko songs ever.

The most beautiful song they ever did IMO was The Only Ones though.

  • its the best song of moloko and one of my all time favorites..

"you're off in another story or merry-go-round" great lyrics

  • Maybe the best track of Moloko.....the melody is unbelievable...Roisin is wow....her voice...the strings...the piano...the lyrics...

just fuckin everything....i love it...really i love it...

  • <3 <3 <3

  • god i love it, it has a warm feel to it,

the lyrics aren't so warm though!

    just a great song!

  • the lyrics are great!

  • i meant the lyrics were a bit darker, but i really love that in a song like this ^_^

  • wrong picture! this is from statues not catalogue

  • a musical gem

  • u all r retared its a good song ok lets leave it at that k

  • this song make me feel like drink beer all the time....

  • I think it's sad

Everything about that man is so painful

And it's so hard to understand that you are crossed out from his life

  • what man? mark brydon? who are you? róisín? :))
