    Forgot to say that hehe

  • Very impressive.

This is actually the idea I had for RE 4.

Now that I got RE 5, I will try to sync the Wiimote and the PC and configure the controls to make RE 5 playable as a Wii Edition one =D

Actually RE 5 has a set of controls of Keyboard+Mouse that is almost the same as the RE 4 one.

Would you mind explaining every detail about how you configured your Wiimote to your PC, programs used, equipment, step by step and controls?

If it's not too much to ask please hehe =P

  • When you do that make sure to show us all!

  • you use the wii sensor bar on your pc??

  • When I shot this video, I was using the Wii Sensor Bar connected to the Wii. I just synced my Remote to my PC first. Nowadays I use a wireless Sensor Bar.

  • i think thats a Dolphin Emulator

  • Nope, this is the PC version of RE4.

  • transformation in resident evil 4 wii edition in pc ;)

  • dude thts no way of taking a video!!!!!

  • That was the best I could do at the time.

  • Pretty cool, but would be better if the controls from the Wii version were somehow implemented (using the crosshairs, no laser).

  • sweet, i have a wii and re4 for pc, now i can play xD

  • nice man =)

  • -_-

  • ok i have it but when i press play it wont work and i already installed it

  • Please tell me how did you get IR input to work, you need the bar or what? don't spare the details. =P

BTW THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for your frets on fire script, I'm loving every minute of it :D

  • Yeah, you need an IR source, which can be almost anything from an official Sensor Bar connected to a powered-on Wii, a 3rd party sensor bar, a string of Christmas lights, or a couple of candles.

  • are you really telling me that I can use any IR sensor, say.... from a wirless joystick that had a IR sensor?

o perhaps a remote control sensor from my audio board.

it's too good to be true

    Please confirm that it is

  • It has to be a steadily outputting source. My laptop has an IR port that scans every few seconds, and my Wiimote can pick it up, but since it's not on all the time, it can't be used as a source. The sun (that big hot ball of gas out in space) works as an IR source. You want to be at least four feet away from the IR source, and though this script will work with only one (with a little tweak of the code), two sources work better.

  • Oh, and if you can manage to make one, I'd love to see a video of somebody else playing FOF with Wii controllers.

  • where do u download the re4 for pc??

  • You don't. You can buy it at Walmart for $20.

  • I have RE4 Wii edition so no need to get PC version and play whit wii remote :P

  • I agree fully. But I made this script before RE4 Wii Edition was released.

  • ok thanks tho

  • oh yeah, how do you configure the controls using an x360 controller?

  • I don't know. I've never tried it.

  • thankx dude!! yes...

  • what graphics card do you have? the frame rates are pretty smooth. ns vid! btw, what does it mean by using a gamepad? can i use an xbox 360 controller? thankx.

  • X800 XT PE in one system, X1900XT in the other.

Yes, you can use a X360 controller, or a PS2 controller to play the game.

  • U didnt save the dog wats ur problem??

  • I did. I shot him free.

  • whats another IR that can be used other than a lamp or sensor bar?

  • Sweet makes me want to pick up a copy RE4(PC) and try this out... ::Sob...:: I don have a nest gen console :)

  • I'm pretty sure Ubisoft made a list of things that piss everyone off with the PC port and put that into their games.

  • I'm pretty sure Ubi made a list of things that would piss everyone off with the PC port and put that into their game****

  • why is there a black border around the game?

  • The game is running at 1280x800 resolution, which forces my TV into 1080i mode. The PC version of the game only supports 4:3 and 16:10 aspect ratios. If it supported 16:9, I could run at 1280x720, which would switch my TV into "720p mode" and the image would fill the screen.

  • looks a lot like the PS2 version and the wii edition is supposed to have a cursor and the remote reaction is slow

  • It's the PC version. I didn't do any modification to the game itself, so it has the default laser sight for targetting.

  • BIRD KILLER!!! your right this one is alot better lol

  • your a ttiger too awesome!!!

  • wow that must be hard!
