• the supreme identity, InI, liberate InI from the context of rastafari

  • jizo goes west, the flower children flow gently east, the amanita muscaria grows north, the tree of life is verily all things, everything is transformed by love

  • simple pagan, non masonic... there is no past or future life, only the eternal life in the now.

  • @presentlightoftruth Well, his wife died of breast cancer very early on. That's probably why he doesn't have kids. Job was diseased and childless too, and he wasn't considered morally lazy. I'm unfamiliar with Wilber's work. Could you give me a link or some quotes you're referring to?

  • @unityspirit52 I think it works for some people, but forcing religion on everyone is only going to lead to convoluted interpretations of what might otherwise be the wisest of teachings.

  • @unityspirit52 I think its more analogy than anything though. The light being described is pure consciousness. Just as physical light floods into the dark void of space through stars, consciousness flows through us as living beings in what would otherwise be a realm of emptiness. There's two forces at play, dancing with one another, emptiness and somethingness, yin and yang, etc etc.

  • @presentlightoftruth How are his views morally lazy?

  • There is one consciousness, and that one consciousness animates each of us individually. Just like waves are part of the ocean, we are part of consciousness. That is how we are all connected. God is the never ending eternal moment that allows consciousness to be. Time is a man made construct, not reality. It always has been, and always will be, NOW.

  • stop doing acid!!! lol jk i love acid...

  • Very interesting. Trying to find this in german tho. But thank you.

  • if I understand correctly infinite is ever present, is now,is the absolute timeless space that is pulling our universe apart from every direction, and at same time is pushing out from the space which is traped bitween the electrons and nuclie, which eventhaly be free, when the stored energey is decipated again and traped space into absolute timeless space, the very nothingness is the key or pure space that contains all including the uportunity for life, movement, compasion, god, so,,,are we infinit.?

  • @saharDJAMS

In a word, Yes. It is the idea of finite that is abstract. Finiteness is a concept applied artificially to the world in an attempt to measure and bring order to it. Nothing in the world, physical or otherwise, is finite it is only perceived as such when we divide things into units of measurement, be they space, time, distance etc.

  • stop saying infinite, you have no idea what it means!

  • @Annon91 yea the worlds 'infinite , the best, good ,bad, nothing,' they all dissapear when the dissolution of entire universe happenes which is every few trillions years! After that a cycle repeats. Only supreme GOD remains(not talkin about Buddha,Jesus,Mohammad etc. Those are just high spiritual masters)! Thats why we all can feel dejavu!

  • Bottom line: You are Source Energy in a physical body. There is no separation between who you think you are and who Source/God is. Unless you accept that we are vibrational beings, nothing makes sense. Everything is about vibration. What we think & feel and what manifests in our experience is always a perfect vibrational match. Consciousness or awareness or enlightenment is being AWARE that you are God, and that everything that's happening is a result of what you're emanating.

  • Mostly stating Sufism!! Sufism is so complete in it. Islam is Sufism, to surrender to God and love His creation for His sake!

  • Are they mentioning eckhart tolle or master eckhart?

  • @Nacluw - would be Meister Eckhart

  • @Nacluw - would be Meister Eckhart.

  • We the people of the earth are currently undergoing activation. Seek truth from the inside and speak.

  • I could talk for hours with him!

  • Ken looks great in this video!

  • "There is an unbounded main

Of thought, beyond our wildest dream,

Through which arrives in every brain,

Imbued with ego, a tiny stream."

Check out my channel for a powerful film on Science and Spirituality, based on Gopi Krishna's last book, The Way to Self-Knowledge. Thanks.

  • R.I.P. Brother Teasdale !

  • Alot of what he has said has already been studied extensively by Evelyn Unerhill who wote Mysticism in 1911...She quotes eckhart alot, and mentions the Orphic Mysteries and how we are able to reach that Absolute Union by "raising holy sparks" discussed in Kabbalah...by raising our collective consciousness through acts of Love...

  • What an inspirational video. I have seen this several times, and it moves me in different and unique ways each time... yet, they all amount to motivating a singular desire for positive change within myself and my life.

  • @PsychedelicMadman same here

  • This video series has completely changed the lives of a few very confused and psychologically tortured U.S. Marines. Thank you very much.

    -One Love

  • Being geographically isolated for ages, we had been conditioned to think what we had been thought. Now we know, our earth is just a microscopic dust in universe. There is too much resentment from still isolated ego centric fundamentalists. What i see is just like a naughty kid expressing anger to accept going to school and learn outside of mom's safety.

Our limited perceptions are being replaced . Humans are evolving for Good beyond sex, race, religion and geographic boundaries

  • My life long school mate Michael had Cancer & Diabetes. He was rushed to hospital in a Diabetic Hypo but Insulin brought him back. He said while in the coma he was floating in a dark void, very peaceful and no pain. He was slowly moving into a beautiful white light and a voice said to him twice, MICHAEL, GO BACK. He said he had come back to suffering and I told him he would eventually go into the light, he did a few days later when he passed away. The words of a dying man...

  • Brother Wayne does a good job of trying to explain the unexplainable. He states the Christian importance of humble surrender. It is interesting to hear Ken quoting the Bible. Peace and contentment to all beings.

  • Spiritual Perfection is impossible.

God is the Love energy that fuels reality.

Creation is the playground for life.

    Breathe in..breathe out.

    Follow your bliss.

Know that your days are numbered.

    Enjoy your life.

Be kind to yourself & others.

  • bravo. what an awesome conversation.

  • God damn theologians..,

    :D

  • When Ken Wilbur says the directive from Jesus "to hate your own soul onto death" couldn't be understood by Christians, he fails to make a distinction between historic Christianity (esp. monasticism) & contemporary, evangelical Christianity. If one reads the Medieval mystics & monastics one will see that they DID understand the statement. I sometimes wish Buddhists would stay within their own tradition when they speak authoritatively.

  • " he fails to make a distinction"

Oh trust me he knows all about the differences between historic christianity and evangelical christianity. Though, he calls them mysticism and exotericism, at times.

  • Interesting perspective and an important one to maintain in this day and age. Good job.

  • I have seen the infinite light, at least it seemed infinite in comparison to the "ordinary" light which Brother Teasdale referenced.

The "ordinary" world of humans is indeed privy to only a minute fraction of the infinite, and we are blessed to have chance encounters with it.

Higher yogis/mystics/shamans are more conversant with the infinite, and this type of relationship is most definitely real. My own experiences, and those of millions of others, reflect this reality.

    Waking up is fun!

  • Thankyou !

  • New age garbage!!

  • this sort of stuff has been around for thousands of years my friend ;)

  • Ken Wilber has actually shown (through his books and philosophy) most new-age approaches to spirituality hold very little, if any, legitimacy. Almost all forms of typical "New Age" practices can be considered just an extraneous unnecessary pre-rational 'coating' to authentic spiritual expereince or realization.

  • You said it.

  • "My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind." - Albert Einstein

  • "Einstein is one of those major iconic figures to whom many statements become attributed; unsourced attributions to him should usually be treated with some skepticism, and often a great deal of it. "

The above is an unsourced quote.

  • mate these teachings and ideas have been around for thousands of years ;)

  • "Infinitely infinite"!? WTF exactly is that suppose to mean? This guy might as well bend over and fart into the camera for 7 minutes and 48 seconds.

  • Who is that next to ken Wilber!! He seems to have a very profound understanding of metaphysics. Would love to know if he speaks, or has written any books.

  • That is Brother Wayne Teasdale who, unfortunately, died of cancer in 2004. He was a Catholic lay monk who lived in the world - was politically active working tirelessly for the poor and homeless. He also spent his life actively living interreligious dialog. His books include: The Mystic Heart, A Monk in the World, Essays in Mysticism, Towards a Christian Vedanta as well as introduction to the spirituality of Bede Griffiths. I highly recommend him. He was a gently soul who sought truth and peace.

  • hagiaadrasteia, Thank you very much for the name. Immediately it is evident his spiritual station is very high. May Brother Teasdale's soul swim in the Supreme primordial bliss of eternal transcendence.

  • Philosophy is commonly refered to as "garbage" by the uneducated. Is it possibly that the ideas presented here are beyond your understanding?

  • You are correct. It just so happens that everyone who disagrees with you is just too dumb to grasp the concepts in this video. How convenient for you!

  • weeeezzll, You don't merely disagree, which is fine. You flat out deny, and then like a ignorant little kid tell the speaker to fart into camera 7. Honestly, stick with John Hagee or the Taliban. Its clear they are more compatible with your intellectual level. Be mature and actually try these mystical practices and then talk. You might be surprised!!

  • This video is garbage. More pseudo-spiritual jibber jabber based on dualistic reasoning and middle eastern monotheistic sandbox of doom religion. Way to go human race. Good job.

  • Mysticism is just another part of attachment and separation, but it's an aspect of the psychological makeup of human consciousness that has to be followed through on and recognized in order for it to be able to play out its role in our development. All belief structure inevitably becomes obsolete, but not until we learn how to no longer need it. Believing in the chakra system and chi/prana helps me function and progress, although/because I understand it's an artificial imposition upon the truth.

  • Explaining non-duality is an endeavor in critical philosophy, not mystical embellishment. Teasdale's unabashed romanticism detracts from his message imo, although I tend to agree with his central thesis, stripped of its mumbo-jumbo.

  • Actually everyone and everything is That and no thing is Real.

  • Totally agree.... best thing on youtube. Beautiful!!!

  • more ken, less wayne.

  • This is beautiful!! I love it. John of the Cross, Meister Ekhardt, Hinduism...yep, it's all in there, and it all checks out. These guys are the real things.

  • Need to know more. Check Ted Gunderson. Other sources are of course Toynbee. Read he's Studies of History written in 195X where he options 3 methods of global standardization among other things of which today through WTO, UN, IMF, are implemented.

  • It's the new religion of the NWO that this guy is propagating. He's a servant (knowing or unknowingly) of the coming new era designers. The uninitiated will not understand what I'm saying here cause they're uninformed. It's the New Age propaganda.

  • It is you who's grossly uninformed if you believe some conspiracy is behind the rise of interest in mysticism. THAT perfectly natural develope is due to the dramatic and obvious failure of creedal religion to address modern problems, and also to global communications, advancing comparative philosophy and religion. There is nothing new about what you call the new religion. Mystical teachings like this have been around for thousands of years on all continents. How ignorant are you??

  • The religion of the NWO is thhe duirect credence in the bible and no actual spiritual meditation. Now THAT is evil, phoebus1966. :)

  • Uhmm, the bible was written by people. The bible really shouldn't have anything to do with this, it was written by PEOPLE, people who weren't "God", as God, but as people interpreting God. Isn't that what's going on here?

  • For the love of god someone please hand me some WD-40!

  • Your comment is almost unbelievable.

  • The Bible is one CRAZY book. :)

  • I am Estonian and I didn't believe Estonians like that Hawkeztonian had any trouble with Christian mysticism that tries to be a spirituality as opposed to a religion. A religion is what you must believe (no way), a spirituality or mysticism is an injuntion into the deepest part of your own consciousness, much more profound than a Carl Sagan video and at no point should you visualize or hallucinate Jesus or Buddha, which in and on itself would not be bad.

  • Best video i've actually seen on youtube so far.

  • "What is there to cultivate in the bright, bright primordial light that is self-knowing, does not split, does not move, is undefiled, and does not abide?" -- Bsam gtan mig sgron (Zen of the Enlightened Eye)

  • I have been hearing about the one consciousness theory lately (the comedian Bill Hicks introduced it to me). I read alot in both physics and spirituality that seem to support it, but if its true and our species is finally evolving why is not more avaible to the public. It would seem pretty important to me.

  • Try watching How to know God on youtube..its very comprihensive and insightful

  • the internet is a valuable medium for this kind of idea, and i think it will spread as people like you and me who are drawn towards it actually have easy access to the info. i was introduced by Bill Hicks as well, one of the greatest cultural figures of the 20th century.

  • ah yes all in one one in all I am the ocean as are you

  • I've become a fan, IntegralNaked. Mr. Ken wilber, plz continue your effort to spread your ideas and develop new ones. I look forward to seeing you in the future.

  • In time, I wish to talk to you about my own version of pansophy. Good luck ken! May the movement raise the consciousness of the world before it's blown up!

  • The best metaphor I can find is an optical illusion. It seems so real and yet you know it can`t be true.

  • Faithrada: I feel that you know what you are talking about. I was there. I know. Yet months or years later you must come to the conclusion that what you experienced cannot be the truth. How can the truth be outside reality. Reality is dualism.

You are aware that this state of bliss and understanding can be produced by placing electrodes on certain spots of the brain.

  • Thank you for posting this! With no conceit intended in my message- I think we have been losing the vital intellectual way in Christianity. We need to show the people who have an interest (they watch these posts), that not all Christians are as intellectually blinkered as,say, Kent Hovind.

  • Peace.

  • i think paxfeline already said it best:

"Sure they'd defend their work if attacked. They aren't trying to prove some dogmatic belief -- they're saying, if you undertake these practices, you will have a spiritual experience. Sure you can argue, but until you actually try it and see if it works, it's just meaningless words. It's silly to worry about the interpretation of an experience you haven't yet had."

  • I find it curious that so many people who express hatred of religious traditions use the word 'evil' personally that word seems to sum up exactly the kind of absolutist doctrinal morality that the same people find so abhorrent in the first place. Also, if you want to engage in a discourse, fantastic, I love to hear diverse opinions, but if you are going to resort to insults and absolutism what exactly are you trying to defend?

  • You´re an idiot.

  • check out 'way of the peaceful warrior'. its a great book about enlightenment/higher selfhood and has nothing to do with religious dribble.

  • To the unaware dribble appears as Truth and Truth appears as dribble. The unawakened mind believes the play of good vs evil to be the ultimate reality... they cannot see beyond the play of opposites, of the dualistic mind. PS: Religion embraces and is trapped within the illusion of duality whereas Enlightenement SHATTERS that illusion. They are not exactly bedfellows : )

  • what is evil?

  • to me 'evil' is whatever suppresses life. If you go around thinking there's some 'other self' you should be discovering, you'll forget how to use will power & ambition to actually create something of value. So just about all new age stuff & anything that bends even slightly to mysticism is in my estimation completely worthless & actually evil if a person hasn't built up a defense against it.

  • so much is done for no good reason at all. so much that is created has no value. mysticism is about getting your priorities straight, it is not about laziness.

  • There is no other self, just structures of consciousness that you think are self, when in fact they are not on their own as true selves of which there is only one, but collectively they can have unity - through civilization, but that seems to be a very slow process.

  • Come back to reality please.Stop beliving in pseudoscience.Stop inventing fantasies to make your life more comfortable.Watch a Carl Sagan video.

  • If you are telling me to watch Carl Sagan videos, then I must say I already did and loved them all. Especially the one with the burninng of the library of Alexandria and all the stuff that could have been in it. But the structures such as culture and the compexity of consciousness always corresponds to the experience that can be had and these structures always evolve. First, second and third person pronouns prove that there are at least three or four perspectives that can be taken to find truth.

  • @josesilva9910 : Having wider, fuller experiences of reality, of consciousness, IS coming back to reality. I assure you, I have read and watched plenty of materialist scientific material. Consciousness and Matter are not mutually exclusive. I can believe in the existence of the brain, and the solar system, and cell biology, AND God, and conscious creation, and deep meditative states. And true illumination through any science, including that of the spirit, illuminates the others.

    Peace

  • you should read Jean Baudrillard's book: The Intelligence of Evil or The Lucidity Pact. it's an interesting read.

  • evil is that which seeks to destroy the light..a great beast of unfathomable despair and hatred, and it feeds on depravity, and manifests itself where light no more..but it is part of God,and i hope God takes pity on those who plunge into the deths of "hell"..nothing deserves to be condemed for eternity..surely?

  • Evil is the will to harm another for one's one perceived benefit.

  • @twild1 lol lose self will? Spirituality is not religion #1, and #2 its about knowing yourself MORE.

Organized religion is fucked, yes, spirituality is just about consciousness and getting rid of your instincitve animalistic ego that tells you to compete and hate others who don't think like you. It's the opposite of what you think it is.

Old comment but I just had to say something.

  • A mystical experience is just an AMAZING illusion.I know.

  • True, a mystical EXPERIENCE is an amazing illusion.. IF we are allowed to perceive it ONLY through dualistic eyes. HOwever~ as soon as we receive Mystical TRANSCENDENCY THAT takes us beyond the experiencial subjective mind and merges our awareness with SOURCE of mind.We re-cognize TRuth Absolute only when we grasp that we ARE Truth. Non dualism recognizes that we do not need to attain The SELF,we already ARE THAT. We DO need RECOGNITION of what we already are. The ONE.

  • paxfeline words the injunction well: some who claim to have experienced God/Spirit, hold that their years of meditation/contemplation facilitated those experiences. It's not very scientific to dismiss those claims without first performing the experiment.

  • That's right.

  • priest likes the sound of his own voice, and bullshits on top of it

  • I think you CAN DO better than that, for the sake of salvaging you credibility, or you could chose not to.

  • These guys are just saying what Alan Watts and Joseph Campbell tried to get across. It's not that complicated.

Religion taken literally is useless dreck. Only by understanding it as metaphor, signs, symbols and mythic narrative is it "truth".

  • And breathing in and out with every ounce effortlessly and with full consciousness and releasing and letting.

  • Sure they'd defend their work if attacked. They aren't trying to prove some dogmatic belief -- they're saying, if you undertake these practices, you will have a spiritual experience. Sure you can argue, but until you actually try it and see if it works, it's just meaningless words. It's silly to worry about the interpretation of an experience you haven't yet had.

  • That's right.

  • I'm liking this language.

I'm just a stumbling noob to the concept of a conscious singularity, (whatever) but this all makes sense.

    Rings true.

  • interesting. much truth spoken.

  • Thanx Travers =D Talk about nothing people! I bet you fucks don't even know how to do that do you? Try it! Its a fucking miracle! Its like being a kid again! These fuckers egos are so extreme I'm surprised their brains aren't on the tables talking to eachother. Trust me...if someone busted in that room and refuted all of them they would want to fight. They're trying to find a way to be universally right. But attempting that they are left as fuck and don't know it. *projectile pukes*

  • Yeah, Everin you're right. Speaking from a lifetime's worth of spiritual practice, experience and study hardly ever has any validity. You clearly have never even so much as posessed an ego based on your selfless observations. You also are in no way projecting your own illusory perception are you? You've lead me see the light, etc. etc.

  • No, they are, and should be infinitely humble because infinity is infinite. Ego is NOTHING, compared to infinity. Don't you misread my post, though.

  • Bull! Too many cows crapping around.

  • No, Corinth6...that's theological reciprocal masturbation in public...

  • I'm not sure what they're talking about. It seems they have transceded the differences in religions to imply that all religions point to the same source (God), and more importantly, for them, that all mystical revelation can be achieved whatever religion you may happen to follow.

  • I thought this conversation was fascinating.

  • Their convo is actually aggressive as all fucking hell. Trust me. What if (LOL) one guy just kept saying "No! you're wrong! Wait a minute!" for no reason. The other guy would progressively flip out. You see these guys are just stroking egos. Which is gay as fuck. Which is offensive behavior. One guy is saying "I WILL ATTACK!" and the other is going "OH FUCK NO YOU WON'T! TAKE THIS AGREEMENT BUDDY! HAHA!"

  • Everin you are Vomit

  • I know this, these guys would be terrorified if one of their ancient cave-man, hunter-gatherer fore fathers walked in and saw them sitting around talking like women. *pukes* Religion and the mysteries of the universe is one thing. But sitting around talking about it? *vomits*

  • Everin, you're a riot!

  • Totally agree.... best thing on youtube. Beautiful!!!

  • Wonderful series! Best thing i've seen on youtube easily, thanks för putting it online!

  • he that hateth not his own soul
