Yep, Eddie had some cool stell licks also! Sonny was the pioneer in this regard, I think.

Eddie Adcock (if that's how you spell it) did a similar steel guitar lick, one of them was to have any position 1 cord, and to take the ring finger and to hammer it on to a 3rd position chord... like(pos.1 C to pos. 3 F)
