@faithlessleap No.. destroking an engine is when you shorten the stroke of the crankshaft. The reason you would do this with the QR, is to slow down the piston speed, and take advantage of the QR's good flowing head. With a long stroke/short rod motor (like the QR), the piston speed gets very high at high RPM. It moves so fast, that the engine loses the ability to efficiently pump in air. This is called "pumping loss". So, we shorten the stroke, make the rod longer, and slow do the piston.

Its when they shorten the length of the pistons, and last i checked on the QR they are pretty damn long.
