Update#63 Up close with Weta's Halo Warthog

It uses a petrol engine from a Nissan Patrol and they fitted a turbo to give it more grunt... according to Tim from Weta in another video I've seen.

I'm actually trying to make up some designs for myself of the M831 Troop Transport Warthog, but with a closer suspension to the games and closer steering. All time 4WD and 4 wheel steering, no 2 wheel steering or crab walk...if it wasn't in the games why add i for real? Instead of a fiber glass body Im using all steel probably close to 3/8"-1/2" plate for the body. Cummins 4BT diesel as well.

The turret look sucky, its the real warthog alright cuz yu can tell by the back wheels turning also...all the other videos yuve seen with the replica of the warthog has only the front wheels turning when yu turn left or right...

@omgwtfbbqgtfo it is close but the in game one didn't use live axles like this one i bet with a little bit of work they could get the suspension independent using the trailing arm without using a live axle, but the drive line would have to be hydraulic. otr they could some how use a live axle sort of deal to live axle with a drive shaft in each trailing arm (would require a lot of work).

@haloismylife123 like the video said, they don't have the real turret because of austrailian rules. they quickly built a mock up turret just so that there is something over there. you can see pictures of it with the real halo turret somewhere in the internet
