so basically you will never receive a exclusive erithrocitic package...thats why people still sometimes get infected via transfusions..blood preparation for transfusion sucks, they really need to develop an antibody mechanism to sort out only the red blood cells.

People get many infections and diseases from blood. They only have a few categories for blood-type A+, A-, B+, B-, O+,O-, (I think these are all of them).They test for these types only. But ACTUALLY,there are 500 separate components to check ,and could NEVER match.
