And I love how you never know if anything either of them says is true. Even when Milo gets the phone call you wonder, did the wife even call ?

Both are good actors,and the movie is very interesting if you consider the fact that is has very few effects and that its mainly a house with just 2 people in it and its still entertaining...Think about that and also about the OST everything fits in perfectly,itls a movie of details,expressions and sarcasm,a film for those who like to see behind the curtains of mind.

You are all free to like it or not like it,but in my opinion to make a movie with such few elements...is indeed a great job.

he is good but not that good. the fact that he came back disguised as that stupid detective was an instant fail. trying to disguise his voice like that by making himself sound hoarse.. cough cough... was just juvenile. spotted right away that it was him. pissed me off that Branagh thought they could pull that shit of. but that's typically Branagh. has to high opinion of his silly ideas.

Actually, however surprising the ending might seem, there are already clues that point towards it in the original (which is one of the best movies ever made). Look at the disguise scene and the "dramatic" tirade from Caine to L. Olivier... and Olivier adding later one, "you are of my kidney"... And PLEASE, stop you commenters giving the end away!
