@MrDjeww it is representive of Jesus' sacrifice for us, I am not a christian nut though, I take it for its morality, nothing more. The cross represents the holy trinity as well. The ten commandments don't say that btw. It says 'I am the lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.' That is where the monothesist idea comes from.

@christiangirlvk Just saying, just because someone doesn't believe doesn't mean they're going to burn. Hell is reserved for those who do harm to others and those who throw others lives away. There's a reason as to why God is forgiving. Otherwise we'd all go to Hell, because NOBODY is perfect and no one goes their whole life without sinning. In truth i don't even believe that Hell exists. Those who "fail" are simply reborn in another body and given another chance to set things right.

I would agree that all religions are right to some extent. But Jesus claimed he was God. Thats why only those who trust in Jesus can be accepted by God. No other religion teaches that God came to us. All religions ever say is "do this. Dont do that and God will love you"

@Arkaeya Well I'm largely in agreement. I do read the New Testament but mostly ignore the Old. And I agree the Bible was written by men and contains human opinion. Church isn't necessary for salvation. I just view it as a place to come together and socialise with other believers. Of course you need to find the right type of church to suit you and sometimes there simply are none where you live. I've gone to some weird ones before. Some guys said Jesus come to Korea in 1985. I was like "See Ya".

And maybe knowing the facts doesn't particularly interest you. But it matters to me. "The only thing we know for certain is nothing is certain." That is a rule I follow by, it is the foundation of logic. What does it mean? It means we have to look at things in a humble matter. Not to prove something doesn't or does exist, but what are the probabilities of it's existence. On one end of the spectrum it's highly unlikely, on the other, very likely. God is highly unlikely.

First off, learn to spell. Secondly, if you haven't heard any bands that can "keep up" with UnderOath and August Burns Red, you need to start listening to more music. Especially since anything after They're only chasing safety UnderOath hasn't put out anything even half decent.
@nice0gaming I have nothing wrong with christian music, but there are much better bands than those, for example: ATR, KSE, BFMV, Trivium, Unearth, Shadows Fall, Lamb of God.

The ten commandments don't say that btw. It says 'I am the lord thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.' That is where the monothesist idea comes from.

There's a reason as to why God is forgiving. Otherwise we'd all go to Hell, because NOBODY is perfect and no one goes their whole life without sinning. In truth i don't even believe that Hell exists. Those who "fail" are simply reborn in another body and given another chance to set things right.

In my opinion, all a person needs to do to go to heaven is to live their life to the best of their abilities and do more for others than they do for themselves. @Arkaeya Well I'm largely in agreement. I do read the New Testament but mostly ignore the Old. And I agree the Bible was written by men and contains human opinion. Church isn't necessary for salvation. I just view it as a place to come together and socialise with other believers. Of course you need to find the right type of church to suit you and sometimes there simply are none where you live. I've gone to some weird ones before. Some guys said Jesus come to Korea in 1985. I was like "See Ya".

I would never believe in God for a free ticket out of hell. In fact, I bet he would see straight through my bullshit scam (all powerful? all knowing?). So, unless I'm convinced through emperical evidence, I have no reason to believe (not that your God is too "weak" to convince me).

@HellionX In the bible it never says God is in the sky, it says he is omnipotent. That means he heard everytime you cursed his name and all the sins you have committed. Unlike earthly law enforcement where criminals escape, God will hold everyone accountable for their own sins. Unless you repent and have faith in Jesus you will perish. Jesus died on the cross and rose again so we could have forgiveness of sins and everlasting life, otherwise we ALL die.

That is a rule I follow by, it is the foundation of logic. What does it mean? It means we have to look at things in a humble matter. Not to prove something doesn't or does exist, but what are the probabilities of it's existence. On one end of the spectrum it's highly unlikely, on the other, very likely. God is highly unlikely.
