I would have to say yes. I have seen them live and they are so amazing. It Gave me goosebumps and made me tear up. I saw them at Choachella Music Festival a few years back and it was awe inspiring to see how they stopped people in there tracks. people would be walking across the lawn and hear them and just have to stop and watch... even all the drunks in the beer garden.

@DylanPatrickRoy Yes they are. Amiina was formed after Sigur Rós "broke up" and they decided to start Amiina instead, seing as all the band members went different ways during the break.

There's a ton still out there, you just gotta look ^_^ MTV, VH1 and Radio pushes gimmicky garbage down peoples throat leaving the impression that "This is the only music out." Have you heard of Mogwai, A Silver Mt Zion, Mono, This Will Destroy You, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Hammock, or God is An Astronaut? They're all good in their own way depending on your taste ^_^

I think you'll find your answer in the later part of this clip - they are normal, everyday people, but they take music very seriously. It may seem a bit daft and an obvious thing to say, but it's as simple as that.
