I got to LVA for this upcoming school year for theatre and i'm so excited! Heard it's pretty hard work but i think i'm up for it. Hope to make lots of new firends.

I was a Theatre Major at the Academy. Graduated in 2003. I'm an old lady now. I was a lead in every musical we did. Honk, Les Miserables. If you have a chance to go to this school. Then go. It's unlike any other school in Vegas. People like to talk shit about our theatre dept. But that's because their just JEALOUS. Cause were the best.

Gah! I want to go to L.V.A so bad! I'm auditioning this Saturday. I'm so nervous! I'm currently going to Cimarron-Memorial, and although I enjoy the theatre program there, it just isn't as focused on theatre, which I plan on working for a career in. Oh and was that a helicopter?!? Thats AWESOME! And the makeup looks amazing! I swear I have never seen something so amazing in a high school. It makes me excited and nervous. But I'm a junior so...its my last chance to get it. Crossing my fingers.
@MrAdrianHyde Yeah, our tech major's made it for siagon and it was amazing!!! did you get in??? my friend's sister was told she got in last week... but yeah i'm also a junior!!! go 2011
@evrythngtkn I want to be in the LVA Theatre program! I have had 6 months on professional acting classes from Gary Spatz in CA , 4 years of Ballet and 1 year jazz , and Chorus for a year. I sing ok but have lots of room for improvement.I think I have a chance but I am not sure. do you know approximately how many people audition and how many get in? Also how harsh are they on the auditions? do they ask about experience? If anyone can answer me it would be extremely helpful.
That's where I want to go and I love to sing so I'm going to try hard to get in that school
