Toryn is an awesome guy and very talented. He just was never accepted as the new lead of Fuel. I love this band, have been a huge fan for 12 years, through all the ups and downs. Brett may have been the original voice and face of Fuel, but Carl wrote all their music, including all the hits. Any combination of players without Carl at the point is moot. Brett can sing Fuel songs forever, but people are going to want something new. I just want Carl back out there doing something, anything.

Yeah Brett is the original singer. He was the singer for the first 3 albums Sunburn, Something Like Human, and Natural Selection. But Toryn is the new lead singer for the Angels & Devils album.

Ive heard a rumor going around that Fuel broke up since Re-Fueled came around. I don't know if it is true but it wouldn't surprise me. Carl tried to save the band by bringing in Toryn but it didn't work.

Toryn did a surprisingly nice job here. I don't think Toryn is a bad singer, he's just not what Brett was. I think Fuel should change their name to something else since they lost Kevin Miller and Brett Scallions. They don't sound the same, their style has changed completely. Angels & Devils was not a very good CD. Plus in some of their shows they had to have a fill in for Jeff. So really the only original Fuel member up there was Carl, and I'm becoming less and less of a fan of Carl each day.

Yeah Brett is the original singer. He was the singer for the first 3 albums Sunburn, Something Like Human, and Natural Selection. But Toryn is the new lead singer for the Angels & Devils album.

Ive heard a rumor going around that Fuel broke up since Re-Fueled came around. I don't know if it is true but it wouldn't surprise me. Carl tried to save the band by bringing in Toryn but it didn't work.

It's just not Fuel (so to speak) with out Brett singing. Changing lead singers is never a good move. I can't remember one band that did.

Toryn did a surprisingly nice job here. I don't think Toryn is a bad singer, he's just not what Brett was. I think Fuel should change their name to something else since they lost Kevin Miller and Brett Scallions. They don't sound the same, their style has changed completely. Angels & Devils was not a very good CD. Plus in some of their shows they had to have a fill in for Jeff. So really the only original Fuel member up there was Carl, and I'm becoming less and less of a fan of Carl each day.

All this bitching..... everybody knows that Carl runs the show in Fuel. It's always been that way.... that's why Scallions quit.... carl wouldn't let him write more material. Disillusioned, he got tired of Carl's nazi dictator shit and told him to fuck off. I guess he realized he'd rather start over than be Bell's puppet. He did the right thing anyways. Fuel hasn't been any good since the something human album anyway. the songwriting has gotten more commercial and more lame since.

as far as I can see your the one on crack, Fuel was started by Brett and the others. And as far as I can see is they replaced Brett with some emo looking fruit.
